Seeing Doug Martin with the Bucs in the pro bowl and having seen him productive all year, can't help but think Ingram could be in a similar position had he not been drafted by Saints and sharing time with 3, 4 other backs.
Ingram was more productive towards the end of the year if I recall, and I wonder if all the splitting time is a blessing as it'll extend his career a few years with his next team maybe.
Unless Payton has a philosophical change MI needs out of NO.
In. Totally agree
One upside - long lucrative injury free career in NO the way they use him
Two of the past three Saints RBs ended up getting traded to the Dolphins and saving their careers. As much as I'd love to see him in aqua, I doubt that will happen this time.
Looking at the stats, he played a lot more this year. As in, the most carries on the team by far. Maybe they're working him up to a starting role.
Trent Richardson couldve landed with the Bucs this year. I think his Rookie yr would've been MUCH different. Better.
