What was the atmosphere like last night? How loud was it compared to other big Bama games of the past? I wasn't able to make it to the game but it looked like a loud and raucous crowd on TV.
VERY loud late, and the students REALLY showed up, including the block seating, and everyone stayed to the bitter end.
Overall a FANTASTIC atmosphere. Too bad we didn't come out on the right end.
1960 Les Paul
Thanks. Glad to know the fans were doing their part.
Atmosphere was awesome. If AJ had scored on the scramble, it would have been as loud as Rocky Block or Croyle to Prothro in Q1 against Florida.
Students who showed up were loud and hung around. Still an embarassing number of empty seats in their section in the eastern three sections of the south upper deck. Those seats need to be sold to the Tide Pride waiting list IMO.
Something smells bad on the plains.
Dead early. Unbelievable late. Really got to them in the second half I think.
South Endzone and 50yarders need to relinquish their seats.
I LOOK BETTER IN CRIMSON!
Going down 20-0 in the 1st will have that affect on a crowd.
Agreed on all counts. I was disappointed the students threw cups on the field. Have class when we win, have class when we lose.
I was there with my son and it was truly loud--the fans showed up and did their part the whole game IMO--it was truly the most frustrating game to see when you consider the turnover situation and failed opportunities--yet it was also encouraging to watch Bama's players fight back and never give up when behind.
This. I couldn't believe all of the people sitting down around us. I know it's been said on this board before, but some of our fans don't realize how special these last few seasons have been.
Whole sections of people sitting down when our defense is on the field and the opposing team is headed in our direction is inexcusable.
Personally, if I can talk the day after the game I don't feel like I've done my part to be a champion.
Yea, Amari's TD and Kenny Bell catch to the 7 was loudest I've heard that stadium in a while.
I accidentally downvoted this post, damn fat fingers and cell phone don't go together too well. Someone help offset my mistake and put this post back positive. Thanks, RTR.
I hit the right voting button on this post. (g) Thanks drmarc for helping me out!
It was a great atmosphere. Very loud and people stayed. I loved it. I enjoy going to BDS. The whole thing. It is not like that here in Texas. Roll Tide Roll
