Its really unreal the depth and talent we have at that position. 8 running backs. This pretty much guarantees we'll be good at this position for 4 years.
So TJ Yeldon
Sr Jalston Fowler (may move to H primarily)
So Dee Hart
So Kenyan Drake
Fr Altee Tenpenny
Fr Derrick Henry
Fr Tyren Jones
Fr Alvin Kamara
And everyone of them would start at most any other school.
Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
Kamara is a huge addition. He brings a totally different element to the backfield. Could be a real difference maker.
Isn't it unreal that we get two more years of the Terminator--err, TJ Yeldon?
Have you ever been to dinner at Sizzler and couldn't decide which dessert you wanted, so you got all of them because you could? That's how Nick Saban is with blue chip running backs.
It will definitely be interesting to see who can get on the field in '13. With Henry already on campus he will get a long look at RB throughout the spring. If he can pick up protection, ball security and show competent receiving skills, then he will have a big head start. Cant help but wonder about Dee Harts' future after two major knee surgeries. If Fowler is all the way back then he will get plenty of touches. So you basically have Kamara, Tenpenny, Jones and Drake competing for the number three spot behind Yeldon and Henry (IF he is ready to see the field at RB). No telling...will be fun though!
new formation- 0 wideouts, 0 tight ends, 5 running backs split wide behind QB.
The Dynasty is Here!
Penalty on the play, too many players in the backfield. 5 yards and repeat the down.
