I know someone that is very closely connected to the Clemson program. We recently were talking football and then recruiting. When RN came up, he laughed and said "that kid is trying to hold them hostage." I asked what that meant. He said that he kept insisting that they give scholly's to his other HS teammates. At this point I didn't know that was actually true, or had just been everyone's assumption.
He said that they offered two guys who were already on their board, so it wasn't that big of a deal. But then RN kept coming back telling them they had to offer another guy, then another. When the staff told him no, he evidently didn't take it too well. He told them something along the lines of "I'm still committed, but I've got to give this some thought, and I may look around." This has caused them not to consider him a "firm" commitment, and are questioning his overall attitude.
Nothing really new, just confirmation of what we thought all along. But I now would not be totally surprised if he pulled a signing day switch, with Ole Miss being a possibility.
Can you imagine him saying something like that to Coach Saban? If he really does have this mentality that he is gonna make demands like that, then I dont want him on our team.
I definitely think Ole Miss is a possibility. I ran into an Ole Miss booster over the summer who seemed very confident about it. If he wants to go there....more power to him.
"You feeling satisfied now Teddy?"

if true, I genuinely do not want him. I question that that's exactly how it went down though.
i feel like he possibly may have mentioned something along those lines and saban said no, i have no inside info or anything but i just remember everybody and their mama pretty much considered him a heavy bama lean and then one day it all just kinda stopped, then he committed to clemson and then started making demands, anyway just my 2 cents...
Before criticizing the teenager, I tend to ask myself who is pulling his strings. He may be playing a game, but who am I to assume it's 100% his own game?
"That's the way it goes. But don't forget, it goes the other way too."
His mom and dad hasn't even sat down with the kid to discuss his options. So if I was Clemson, I would expect a change before signing day.
What is UMiss's attraction for RN? Why would he choose there over many other schools with more exposure and better coaching staffs?
his brother plays at ole miss
Ok makes some sense now.
I for one hope he stays at Clemson & out of the SEC!
