Clemson in 2008 was big. It kinda set the tone for the last 5 seasons.
* well...I guess I should have read the comments above before spouting out my thoughts...lol

Clemson, 2008, has gotta be in there somewhere. Got it all started.
Great list and great idea for a thread.
The 2008 Clemson game should be on there, but I don't know which game from your list I would replace it with.
I would say Clemson game would be up there but wouldn't be the most significant game of that season. It showed us what we could do, but then again it was a Clemson team that was usually over hyped and would blink.
On my list I had the title games at top out of principal. And reasonable minds can disagree on that approach.
But IMO, outside of the NC games I think the 2 biggest wins of Saban's era are either UGA 08 or UF 09 in the SECCG. I don't think any other 2 are close. The message they sent to our own team and to the entire nation were profound.
Of the OOC games we have scheduled, I think the Clemson win is much more significant then any other. And also just think how much youth we had out there that game who would be key kogs in the title runs.
Here's what I got:
1) Florida 09
2) Texas 09
3) LSU (BCS)
4) UGA 12
5) LSU 12
6) Auburn 08
7) UGA 08
8) LSU 08
9) Clemson 08
10) VT 09
Dude. Only an idiot or a troll would question which LSU game from the 2011 season he referred to as the best game of the Saban era, and if you watched the games, the quote he referenced leaves no doubt.
Fwiw, I didn't down vote you, I just shook my head...
This is my list almost exactly except I had VT 2009 at the 10 spot because it really set the tone for that season.
