is most important recruiting task right now. I'd love to catch some more big fish but burns is an important piece and Saban's most important recruiting task over the next few hours. i know some of you guys are saying there are other coaches out there and your right. But burns has had major impact on our rbs. All of you guys arguing that Trent and mark were walk in talents are the same ones that make fun of other schools for having awesome recruits and not developing them. He is an awesome rb coach, even before he came here he had major impact on cj spiller and James Davis. The guy can flat out coach and it bothers me how people just take the next mentality and marginalized what he's done.
I agree the position he coaches. Is one that you can see clearly gets results on the field. But I realize we must stay up on the recruiting front. & have lost a couple of good ones in Pruitt & Sal the last couple of years. We'll see what happens.

It's a grind working for Saban. I understand why coaches leave. He has an eye for coaching talent that is probably not rivaled in CFB. He'll replace him with equal or better.
not going to freak out about it. What happens happens. we still have Saban and that's what really matters
3:00 Christmas meeting did him in IMO (G)
We don't fumble much either, do we??? That is coaching!!!
All you have to watch is mark in film room study in the espn special. Burns is a great recruiter, a great man, and can coach up rbs to their top potential.
