Capital One Bowl wanted A&M, but I'm guessing that the SEC said no -- especially since it'll put A&M in the Cotton Bowl. Better draws for both bowls if you ask me.
Looks like the Bulldogs will face Nebraska.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
A&M will face Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl.
Georgia should destroy Nebraska.....
And JohnnyHeisman Football should take down Landry Jones, too.....
Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, Florida & South Carolina are the best 6 teams in the country.
I might would replace SCAR with Oregon.
Gurley and Marshall will run for as many yards as they want to.
Legitimate argument no doubt.
No doubt who has the better D, but not many teams can hang with the Duck's offense.
Georgia loses by 4 in an epic SEC championship game for only its second loss and has to go play a Nebraska team that had 70! put on it by Wisconsin in the Big 10 Championship. CNS lobbied for Georgia (and Florida) to get BCS bowls after the game. Bleh. The system (and SEC hate) certainly isn't going to give Georgia a good matchup for its bowl. Florida literally comes out ahead by not going to the SEC championship game.
UF gets the same benefit we got last year.
uga to the cotton would of been a big slap in the face seeing that they should be bcs...capital one is the best nor bcs game(i think)
