Apparently, the name of a prominent Penn State booster has surfaced in the new criminal investigation into Jerry Sandusky and the university, with a witness claiming that the booster joined Sandusky in abusing a child,
Also there's apparently an ongoing federal criminal probe into a Sandusky child pornography ring.
CBS story: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57491185/feds-probe-possible-sandusky-child-porn-ring/
... um, anyone still want to question why the Penn State president was so eager to agree to the NCAA penalties?

Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
Those 3 boosters really need to shut the heck up and let this story die.
And the former playera appealing the vacating of Ws.
Underlying accusation is that they took football too seriously and lost perspective in light of disgusting horrific actions.
So players decide to appeal wins?!? Wow. Great way to validate the accusations. What a bunch of idiots. And the ones going on the radio trying to justify the appeal have no clue. Sound like sma bunch of uninformed meatheads.
IF all this is accurate - Shut it down now. It needs to be wiped clean for a year or so and I never thought this before.
I'm telling ya, there's a NATIONAL ring of abuse going on that this is JUST the tip of the iceberg of. It is sickening, disgusting, and downright evil---like Satanic evil. I cannot believe how much of this is going on right under our noses and we aren't seeing it. It is in our backyards...we are not isolated from "Penn State". Just don't put your head in the sand.

Chris, wasn't there a sports radio host that eluded to something like this a while back?
And like I've said a few times, I hope they all rot in hell......

Wonder if NCAA can go back and give death penalty in light of new infomation coming out? Starting next year of course.
I'm still one of the few that believe JoePa also participated in the pedophilia. Just you wait.
I'm not buying that for now, but you have to think... why in the world would he let Sandusky slide on this when he knew what was going on. Heck, how did the GA (at the time) not scream it on the mountain tops?
As for myself, and I'm sure most on this board... we'd gladly lose our jobs over something like this. If it were me and the coaching staff or University listen, then I'd go straight to the cops. If the local cops didn't listen, then I'd go straight to the local media. If they didn't listen, then I'm calling HBO Real Sports or Bill O'Reilly or someone that would so something.
So... I say all of that to say that while I choose not to believe Paterno was involved, I wouldn't be absolutely shocked either.
This story is just too much, I wish the nightmare would end.
Yes sir. Would make more sense than him just covering it up and ignoring it for more than a decade.
The whole world (along with all of the PSU fans, administrators, etc.) wishes this would end. but I had an argument with a Gator fan tonight. He said the wins should not have been stripped from the players who had nothing to do with the problem. While I agree that the players had nothing to do with the problem, at least the head coach, along with college administrators did know what was going on. I hate it for the players but unfortunately they are collateral damage for the coach and the administrators. And I will say one more thing --- the Paterno family should shut up!!!!!
I think this may be the most horrific sports story ever! Those poor children are forever damaged for a football program...absolutely horrendous!
Sadly and painfully, I'm not surprised. To the extent this went on; there's always a puppet and a puppet master.
Speechless and heartbroken---I have sympathy to the fans and students but I genuinely feel Penn St. should get unprecented penalties.
Take everyone of them, strip up, and through them into public population in prison and then just walk away.
I really wish Capital Punishment was on the table with extreme cases like this.
a.) Evidence is beyond appeal.
b.) Ruined as many lives as a capital crime or more.
c.) Tax payers shouldn't float the bill for this *&^^%%%%$
I agree. Since the beginning the reason for the cover up that made the most since to me was his involvement or the involvement of SEVERAL others. Burn the place to the ground.
If everyone wants to burn penn state to the ground, why not montana? Why is nobody stepping in there? And Graham Spanier is still a free man and the NCAA won't do anything to him.
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
