is anyone on here a part of this? I'm currently working in the Aiken area and need some Bama brethren to hang out with on gameday. TIA.
Just left Grovetown. Wasn't able to make any events, but I did recieve a reply to my emails to people within the group so they at least were active.(I'm not alumni and was checking to see if I could still attend events.) Many more Bama fans in the area than I expected. Not so much in Aiken, though.
On a side note, don't know how long you've been in Aiken, but if you are a beer drinker be sure to check out the Aiken Brewery downtown. Can get busy, but always worth it. They also have Sunday ticket and beer specials on Sundays upstairs. Or they used to anyway. I don't know if any bars in Aiken get the Gameday package, you might have to go to the Carolina Ale House in Augusta for that and request the game. Everytime I went there was at least one other Bama fan there. Hope this helps. Roll Tide!
Watch out for the gypsies.

Thanks CDBama, I've been here awhile but I'm not really into bars anymore since I got married and had a son, we were hoping to meet some new Bama friends since all my buds from work are Gamecock fans and seriously who wants to see them play?
Oh yea, thankfully they're on the other side of town from where we stay.
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
Yep, a few run ins with them and you will understand the term "gypped"
Totally understand. I will add, though, that they are also a restaurant. Very good food. It just so happens you can have a quality beer with your dinner. :)
Right on. I never said I didn't like a good cold brew, just not the bar environment since I finally snagged a keeper. Thanks for the recommendation, will have to check them out.
I'm from Evans but recently moved to Birmingham. Wish I would have known about it when I lived there.
