Lets come at it another way. Tebow was listed as inactive for the game yesterday. As for the monkey simple comment it was not a knock at Greg or his knowledge of the playbook. He only threw maybe six passes. The majority of those passes were rollouts, waggles, or quick reads on an out route. They didn't stress Greg nor put him in a position where his arm strength or reading defenses were tested. By the same token given how utterly ineffective the Cardinals were, they didn't need to. Even though it was a 1 point game and where kickers can kick 50+ with regularity, the color guy kept pointing out it was doubtful the Cardinals would win unless the Jets made a mistake on offense.
Would be the first UA QB to start and win since Barker I'd imagine.
GMac should've gotten his chance last week. Keeping him inactive and suiting up TT who was admittedly too hurt to play was asinine
Sanchez struggled mightily in that game too. If there had been a viable 2nd QB, Sanchez wouldve been benched then
No it's all good. I was more less injecting more notes into your post. I just hope he gets 60 minutes before its over. If so the quality of play they're missing will be there imvho.

Barker never played a snap. I was thinking Todd was the last.

Exactly, nothing to lose at this point.
Question. From what little I saw in preseason last year and now, is it reasonable to assume when McElroy is in the game, the Jets try to hold him to short throws. If so, can it be effective long term? I'm not much of an X's and O's person, so enlighten me.
I agree with this EXCEPT he had one heave on a 1st down and had a decent back shoulder throw that his receiver made a heck of a play on. Showed decent arm and accuracy on the latter, and it was a big 3rd down to keep the ball on their last possession if I remember correctly.
I'm not usually a fan of Jaws...but nice of him to push GMac
Jaws thinks it would be best for Sanchez to sit back and actually watch the game for a little bit. I think G-Mac could be an Alex Smith type if given the playing time. They have a decent run game and a good dump off guy in Joe McKnight. I was getting frustrated during the game because Brian Billick calling the game and kept on like warning Mac about Patrick Peterson. I guess he didn't realize the two have met before.
