Way overrated... watching him play Gadsden City. And if I didmt know which one he was I would not be able to pick him out.... Big and Steong but that is all... Now Curtis Luper's son is the REAL DEAL... Kid has about 350 all purpose yards...
Rf is crazy if he sticks with the barn, he might not even make it to the next level playing there. RTR
Maybe being promised he wouldnt have to work for anything and would start from day 1 has already made him lazy and uncommitted to working hard...
He's the real deal.
I Ain't got no Worries - Lebron James
i go to all of gc games and yes luper is the real deal.trooper and curtis was on the sidelines but they have a really good team ,not many folks domnate gc like that..49-24..2 fluke plays that turned into long tds really turned the game in the second half..
I talked to someone at the game tonight - said Foster was stiff and not moving very well. I am not sure about his conditioning/health right now, but I know he was pretty heavy in the summer.
He has the gifts to be special though.

Depression has set in. He knows he screwed up. Hope his mom likes her house.
Back in the day, I ran a 3.9 in the 20
that tattoo's probably like kryptonite...
I think Johnathan Allen has more Upside in the long run. Better pro potential. Reuben is a great player, but he has bought into all the hype and grown complacent. Auburn High School will be on ESPNU next week facing off against Carver, so we will all get to see for ourselves if he really is overrated.
Wasn't there something wrong with his knee or something that had people worried?
There are scores of 5-Star duds that have all the gifts but lack the character and work ethic to tap into their vast potential. When they think they have arrived before taking a single college snap it doesn't bode well for their future. Factor in the other variable of playing in a renegade program where there is no discipline and accountability and the chances of a "Bust" career are as good as Jamarcus Russell sippin some purple drank on a saturday night.

I can't see R Foster live, but he still has the best film I've ever seen on a prospect. That's my untrained opinion, but I I'm not going to really care about his future success either way. Not because he'll play for the barn, but because its tough enough to keep up with all the current and former Bama kids.
Allen will be a better player in the long run because he will have far better coaching
that's when he was playing under Troup coaches who pushed and demanded more from him than apparently is happening right now.
His freshman year he played under Bubba Jeter and George Brewer (both good defensive minded coaches) and with JC Copeland (whose success at LSU as a FULLBACK is speaking for itself) and he excelled under Coach Flowers. He'd be playing better had he stayed with Troup. They may not be the program AHS is, but he'd be better.
Money talks and Troupe walks.
I agree. Best defensive highlights I've ever seen on a prospect. It seems that his work ethic & drive have changed since his move from Troup and he's not the player he was last year. But the tools are there for his to be exceptional. I also am not concerned with his development. Nothing personal, it's just that my concern and allegiance lies with our boys.
committed to A&M
wonder if he knows something that others dont ?
RF was definitely deserving of his #2 ranking last year... but Shane and most people on the board (see: the Opening) were right. You could see this underwhelming season coming. The kid has talent... just hasn't really been doing the work. Even when he was committed to Alabama... there were many on the board questioning his conditioning. This is just the result. I hope the kid turns it around... blue chip LB's are fun to watch. Would have been nice if he were still in crimson. RTR!
Thanks for the post shane.
You play like you practice. Something he would have learned from saban. A lesson not learned at auburn.
Anybody who thinks RF is overrated needs to remove their homer goggles. He may have made a stupid decision in flipping to the barn, but that kid is as good as it gets in high school
Crimsonlayer's, die you see him play last night? Have you seen him play in person this year? Just wondering... If I had not known who he was from 247 sports, I would have thought he was just another player who might or might not get a scholly, now that is a far cry from the best defensive high school player in the country... Maybe you are going off last year's tapes when he had coaches who pushed him?? Personally, I DO NOT want this kid in Crimson if he has to have someone in his ear to help motivate him... See Trent Richard son's video when he use to go run sand dunes by himself and with teammates WITHOUT coaches...
Not a flame sur, just my opinion on what I saw...
