@LSUShep10: Definitely interested in writing a book about my experience at LSU... Will call it "The truth" ...
Interesting. I remember he was close to leaving last year.
Did he play in bowl game?
I don't recall hearing his name called.

Sour grapes. He choose that route and he was free to leave at any time.
did not play
At some point in the 3rd (listening on XM as I drove) the radio guys mentioned he hadn't been on the field yet.
If that was a DNP:Coachin Decision, it would piss me off too.
Might have been disciplinary, who knows.
Ken Fryer @kenfryer
@RandyRosetta Any word on why Shepard didn't play?
Randy Rosetta @RandyRosetta
@kenfryer Yeah, but can't say here. There was good reason.
@RandyRosetta can you say it in a column? :-)
Randy Rosetta @RandyRosetta
@kenfryer Nah. I like the kid. He's got a bright future. Just didn't work out football-wise at LSU.

Wish I knew if there was something underlying in "The Truth"
Yeah, I'd love to hear his version of "the truth." It kinda seems like they've been trending downward since about this time last year.
Could be a game changer should he do a Spill the Beans type book
I doubt that happens.
What beans he going to spill?
He was an angel and the coaches screwed him?
Sour grapes from an overhyped player.
I see lots of posts of his on Twitter. He's always hashtagging everything #foreverLSU. He may not be happy about not playing, but he seems to love LSU.
Massive Bust is a more effective title...
or coaches at LSU promised him things and then didn't deliver (opportunities etc)
Who knows. I doubt it happens.
He was a 5* QB when he was being recruited. Sometimes that doesn't translate well into a position change at the next level.
Shoulda been a qb for LSU. Why he didn't play that position is weird to me.
See: Matt Jones from Arky to Nfl.
Receivers never have much luck in their Offense.
Soft back book.
That's Cajun country man. There are beans everywhere!
his ranking was all hype and no substance. he couldn't throw the ball, so playing qb was never really an option. he should have listened to CNS who said he would have been a great safety.
Just sounds upset that he didnt get the reps he thought he'd get at LSU
Look if I were a 5 star QB recruited in the offense of LSU and I didn't really get a chance to play QB, after watching the offense and what they put out there for the past 4 years, I would be a little pissed too. I mean Jarret Lee should be pissed as well as he proved he was better the Jefferson last year. Which leads me to my final conclusion, and this may come out in the book Sheppard is writing, Jefferson has some crazy pictures or some goods on Miles and therefore he was forced to start him...that is the only logical answer
