Had to share this with my Bama brothers and sisters.
ATLANTA -- I want to believe Notre Dame can beat Alabama, but the problem is that I justsaw Alabama. I saw a Southeastern Conference title game that felt an awful lot like an epic national championship game. I saw the Crimson Tide beat Georgia, 32-28, in one of the finest games of the last decade. I saw enough NFL talent on the field to stock the AFC West.

good read and thanks for posting. Amazing the respect that Alabama earned yesterday. Even those who are tired of the SEC and Alabama's dominance of college football cannot deny what was done in Atlanta yesterday. Games like that are why the SEC is without question the best conference in the land.

Thank you all for the upvotes. As much as I like this article would love to see it pinned at the top. LOL
there are some real butt hurt Pac 12 fans commenting on that article
"Star running back Eddie Lacy, who ran for 176 yards and may test positive for steel"
Best line I've heard in a while! Probably true too.

Very good article. I especially liked his compliments about our players' character.

As I said earlier. Loved the article. Roll Tide Roll
Really good read,,,+1. Love how an outsider was able to view into what Saban and crew have preached and taught to this team.
Thanks for posting. Great article.
"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, nobody!"
"But I just watched Alabama. And then I talked to Alabama players, and besides being so maddeningly nice and aggravatingly polite, they sound so much like Saban that it's frightening."
SI still hires and develops great journalists, for the most part (remembering that no-one bats 1.000 lol). Great read thanks.
Great read, thanks for posting.
Great read ! LOL at the comment section, butthurt George24.
Anybody see this comment? So apparently they are already selling ND National Champ shirts.
"I.m a Bama fan (and something of an Ohio State fan, but Bama is # 1 in my heart) living in the mid-west. I was in Meir's yesterday morning and They have Notre Dame 2012 National Championship T-shirts for sale. Amazing!"

You are going to find that Notre Dame fans are the darlings of the media and their fans are some of the most obnoxious and arrogant in the country. Picture a barner with teeth and and education and you have Notre Dame fans.
