"@SDS: Bama transfer WR Duron Carter dismissed from practice at FAU for lack of effort while his dad Cris Carter watched."
Just sad. That is all.
I almost feel worse for Chris Carter, how embarrassing to have your son dismissed from practice in front of you
Didn't see this coming. (g) Not sure the kid will ever learn.
Yes, has to be awful for him. However, can we imagine what it would be like to be the son of Chris "All he does is catch Touchdowns" Carter? and be a receiver? I'm not making excuses for the kid - obviously he doesn't get it and somethings amiss. But, at the same time it can not be an easy thing and on the flip side doors have opened up for him his entire life simple because of who he is. He will get more chances than others not named Carter.
However - maybe the kid really doesn't want to play this game we all love so much. He seems to be crying out in the only way HE thinks he can - by not doing what he must know he has to do on the field and off the field. The kid seems to be telling people something - and so far no ones listening ??? I think
Queue Jackue Gleason "boy when we get home I'm gonna punch to momma right in the mouth"
To the moon Alice.
"The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over; thus the wise say the path to Salvation is hard."
Chris made a lot of bad choices as a young guy, as he'll readily admit. Let's hope Duron can learn to get himself straight like his dad did
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
