Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
You called Danielson a moron in your original post, and in the same post proceeded to support your claim with a commentary on his opinion of a football-related topic. Later on, you admitted he has a high football IQ.
So yeah, I'd say that in the context of your thread, the two ideas are mutually exclusive.
"That's the way it goes. But don't forget, it goes the other way too."
Actually, my beef was with the content of the article not fitting the title. With Danielson's name attached to the title, I ERRANTLY blamed him. My bad.
A later post corrected me and pointed to Mike Herndon as the author. I definitely should have looked a little harder before reacting.
However, under the context of what Herndon published, imho it was a COMPLETELY MORONIC article. Not what Danielson said, but how Herndon seemingly stuck a random title for the sole purpose of grabbing the reader's attention.
I clicked on the article expecting some X's and O's about specific matchups, but came away feeling anything but more enlightened on the subject.
I do see your point as related to my initial post, btw. My fault for being too quick to jump.
+1 to you.
