Looks like he wants assurance that if he gets hurt he still gets paid... do you agree?

The ncaa offers a insurance plan and there's another big one that does it. At five million going through the ncaa is something like 25000 where the other place is like 50000.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
I've been told the premium is paid using a line of credit. The LoC is secured against future earnings OR payout of the insurance plan in the event the player has a serious injury. I would imagine the lender has significant input on the terms of the insurance plan to ensure they're paid off if the player is hurt.
I assume the amount of the policy is driven by review of actuaries who have considerable ability in analyzing talent vs. projected draft status and future income.
Its about $10, 000 per million insured for. The only way you can collect is if your injury is so bad you can never play football again. Its a total waste of money. Now if Im playing against clowney I'm getting some insurance of some form or another. Preferably life insurance.
