Just picked up 5 star WR Lequan Treadwell. Hugh Freeze is getting it done over there and they could be a legitimate force in the west soon.
Yeah, good pull for them, and they figure to finish out their class strong. Not very strong on the lines though. 4-5 WR's and a couple QB's. They will likely get that 5 star DE from Indiana, Conner, and Nkemdiche to round out the class.
4 star rb auburn commit, Wilkins, is visiting this weekend too.
They are about to shoot up the rankings.
Im very impressed with Ole Miss these days.
"We have an opponent in this state that we work every day, 365 days a year, to dominate."
It's amazing they were able to pull a 5 star kid from Chicago down to Oxford, MS. They're probably the hottest recruiting team in the country right now. Hugh Freeze could sell ice to an eskimo.
Some people bring a knife to a gun fight. Mark Richt brings a Super Soaker 2000.
He has done a very good job coaching and recruiting. Could shift some of the power from LSU.
Ole Miss does not need big OL in the type of offense they are going to run. It's all about speed, getting to the line of scrimmage quick and tiring down bigger Defensive teams and not letting the other teams substitute players. Ole Miss will not be a power offensive team, its the no huddle fast Break. On Defense they will try and be geared to stop power teams like us and LSU since they will have to beat us to make it to Atlanta. Their goal is to run 85 to 90 plays a game on Offense and to limit us and other teams to 3 and outs so we can't run ball control offense and keep their offense off the field. It's a gimmick offense, JMO.... They wanna be the Oregon of the South
I think Saban said after the A&M game that one of the things he will work on is combating the up tempo gimmicky offenses. He's recruiting specific types of players to defend it. Hell, the barn will run it with Malzahn. I think Ole Miss caught Bama by surprise this year when we played them. We didn't play particularly well but still beat them 33-14. A&M got us at a perfect time coming off the LSU game.

Eat clean. Train Hard.
Ole Miss under Freeze is more Malzahn/Oregon than Kelly/Oregon. They actually do need physical OL play. All of the successful spread teams in the SEC have had very good to elite big and physical OL. You can't finesse your way through the SEC
