round about the time Barret was pushing AJ around in the 4th qtr?
He though we called timeout before the penalty.
That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. Thanks
I love that man.
"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, nobody!"
He was yelling at the refs a few minutes before, and one of the things I heard on the Jack Arute show yesterday was that at some point during the game, Saban was displeased with the refs missing an ND chop block. I think this might have been why Saban was so amped at the refs at the end of the game...the TO call was adding gas to the dumpster fire. Bama has lost far too many good players to season ending injuries related to folks going after knees.

I saw at least one chop block by Notre Dame. In the first half, they chopped Damion Square. Clearly engaged with one guy, hit in the back of the legs by another. Anyone else see that? Wasn't called and neither Brent nor Kirk noticed it.
Holy chet the Notre Dame fans on the main board were saying how we cheated and i called them out for a chop block on damian Square. And called them thugs..
Is that the one your talking about?
He was mad about that but he was already mad before that about something
I am 99% sure that whenever Nick Saban starts to feel the slightest bit happy inside he turns it into rage directed at someone or something so as not to let anyone know that he is letting down his guard and thus appearing to be human.
No reason we don't get that timeout there. Don't understand why it wasn't granted
CNS expects perfection from the refs just as he does of himself and everyone on the Bama staff and team--that's all.
I saw that as well. Also, either square or another dlineman was tackled while going after golson and there was no call.

It was on the play where Eddie threw the LB on the ground. It was a blatant chop block and he was Square went down he was very fortunate to not have been injured.
Numerous face mask penalties were missed against ND. In fact I was starting to believe that there plan was to try and put key players on the sideline by removing their helmet.
On the shove Saban was definitely chewing him out for the timeout. You could read his lips plain as day, "called the time out with 1 fn sec left"
