Its funny that those dog fans are hammering saban but their school didnt offer taylor either.

+1 for your proper use of "cue".
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
Thought about writing another comment or two, but wasn't in the mood to fight on the internet. However the few that have responded to me seem really fired up to discuss why UGA is the utopia of high moral character. After living there for 6 years and bartending in Athens for two I can tell you that those players are not exactly clergymen.
Case in point: Thursday night before the Blackout Knowshon Moreno was behind the bar at Bourbon Street completely blackout. That was when I knew we were going to stomp them.

Sounds like Saban says that he told Taylor about a gray shirt to begin with and Taylor changed his mind?
But I thought everybody on here already knew exactly how this conversation happened? How can this be?
+1 to you MBP

Please don't link that trash newspaper on this site (g).
It's nice to have a rock star as a head coach. I think it helps our recruiting. (g)
"He had 23 officials from either ESPN’s production crew or the tournament support staff following him around the golf course."
"about his controversial recruitment of Justin Taylor."
"Speculation became rampant in the college recruiting world that instead it was a reason to oversign at Alabama and then manage the roster to keep as many recruits as possible within the rules."
First I am on record as saying I had no problem with the recruitment of Taylor but had a big problem with the Phelon situation due to the timing in which each was told.
Next, I laughed when I saw the above quotes.
THEY, the AJC, were the ones that made a controversy and they were the ones speculating. Hell, they linked to their own story in the 1st quote.
This would be akin to me saying "The AJC has come under increased scrutiny due to their reporting on all things Saban" and then linking you to this post I am typing right now.
There wasn't an outcry with the Taylor situation. There wasn't speculation with the Taylor situation. Both unlike with Philon. The only ones doing it was the AJC and therefore they get to take another stab at this citing back to their own stories.
Now that is funny.
Sorry I'm confused on the Phelon and Philon references. I slow.
So Taylor had originally agreed to take the greyshirt, which allowed Saban to sign one more player, but then Taylor said he didn't want the greyshirt anymore, his spot was gone, bye.
In summary, shut up AJC blog
