Yes, he's worn a hat before only in the rain. And it was mentioned on here after the game. Someone said he was dressed as Mike Shula for Halloween.
Someone called in "hey Coach" one night and asked why he never wears baseball caps. He said that, earlier in his career, he wore one to practice one day and one of the coaches told him he looked like a pinhead. He said he's never worn on since...I was really surprised to see him wearing the cap Saturday night, but he definitively didn't look like a pinhead, so he needs to wear them more often...
Since he's been at Bama? Pics or it didn't happen. Rules . . . You know the rules.

I recall he wore one in the rain his first year in '07 when we played Vandy in Nashville.

He knew that he needed a hat because there was no way to present the most awesome hairdo in the history of man (that he blew dry and fluffed apparently during the rain break) properly in a driving rain. Makes sense. Represent your hairdo at all times.
