If we have the opportunity to sign a punter that has Brad Wing ability, I am ALL FOR IT. IMO, special teams have been our weakest link over the last few years & having a kid who can consistently flip the field, get you out of trouble and pin teams deep is one of the few weapons we have yet to have in our arsenal.
I have no idea what this kid's ability/potential is, but I'm all for it if he can be a difference maker.
Just my .02 cents...
There is still no sign of Duron Carter.
I wonder how we have a scholly available for a punter, yet don't have room for Von Bell.
Must be pretty good especially when we already have another scholly taken up by a long snapper
...and 2 kickers

If we're talking about a punter who can make a 5 to 10 yard net difference on average on every punt, then hell yes.
If you were talking about any player on defense whose presence on the field often meant one less first down on any given drive, wouldn't you take him?
Roll Tide Roll
I meant in this current class but yes
A punter is a weapon or a liability in every football game...field position and the ability to control or flip it is very, very worthy of a scholly...couple that with a long snapper that has the fastest delivery time ever at UA and you all but eliminate a block unless you muff that snap. Be happy we are loaded to the point that we can offer these best of the best specialists a scholarship to The University of Alabama.
