How did I know this was going to start being said?
We are in the national championship aren't we? Relax and enjoy. It wouldn't be fun if 100% of the country were Bama homers slobbering over us 247

Oh I'm fine. Just think its dumb. I was saying to myself during the game this topic would surface and it took only a couple of minutes
I think Bama matches up much better with ND than the ducks. I would be very nervous watching Bama play Oregon or even a hot passing team like Louisville last night. The secondary is finally improving, but still very vulnerable to a strong passing attack w/ an elusive QB.
Our offense would have ran the ball at will against Oregon and their Napoleon sized dline
I agree. But, Oregon is going to get their points. Against last year's Bama D...not happening. I don't have as much confidence in this years D without Upshaw, Hightower, and Barron. I don't have tons of faith winning a shoot out type game which I could see it end up being. I do think a Bama/Oregon game would be one hell of a game. Plus you can never underestimate a Saban game plan with 6 weeks to prepare.
Oregon would have a good shot at beating us this year.
That being said, K-State, Louisville, and Oregon all would throttle Notre Dame.
That's the point of the Oregon O, you don't come in shape, you don't get lined up properly, you don't have a game plan. Would be an interesting game tho, especially with last years D. On an unrelated side note, a 4 team playoff would have been awesome last year from a matchup standpoint. Oh well
Be really interesting to see CK take the eagles job, from a skills player standpoint they should have the pieces in places, I know they run a zone blocking scheme as well, and I believe Philly likes their o-linemen on the more athletic end but I could be completely wrong here.
Hmm. Seems like I remember B-A-Y-L-O-R putting their foot considerably farther up K State's ass than Oregon just did.

Yeah but who cares.. they lost to Stanford, who lost 2 games this year
I firmly believe Oregon and Bama are the 2 top teams this year, but this is the way it is and I think I can live with it as long as we're the benefactors.
If my Aunt had nuts....she'd be my Uncle...
A team that played SOLID defense....stayed in their lanes....beat them....
Thank you Stanford....
Agreed. Oregon is very good and they are the one BCS title match up I didn't want because of their ability to score points. They're a tough match up for anyone. Stanford did an amazing job shutting them down. Still trying to figure that game out.
its just for discussion...back away
We lost to Texas A&M, who lost 2 games this year.
They beat 2 teams that will finish in the top 25, Kansas State (11-2) and Oregon State (9-4). Whereas Alabama beat 3, Michigan (8-5), LSU (10-3), and Georgia (12-1), in the regular season. Oregon also lost to the only team ranked above #15, at home. Keep in mind Baylor beat Kansas State by 28, whereas Oregon beat them by 18. Any argument that they should be in the BCS Championship over Alabama is completely without merit.
I feel very fortunate that Bama got to avoid Oregon this year. That offense gives me heartburn.
who cares? We are in the game, they aren't.
Auburn beat them. They have no discipline.
I would be worried about Oregon if we played the during the regular season with one week to get ready. In a bowl scenario with a month to prepare gimmick offenses do not scare me. They would get embarrassed on offense and defense.
