to be fun and surprising. Based off the nuggets, we may be passing on Bell at this time. I dont see how they do that unless they feel pretty confident with couple of the following. Seems Jackson, Kamara and maybe Reed are a given based off todays nuggets(could change). That leaves 2-3? spots if Bozeman is grey shirt. We have Bell, Foster, Tunsil, Poggi, kid Saban is visiting in Texas today(Hand?) and possibly DT from California. If they are possibly passing on Bell. whats the feeling on the board what may happen just for entertainment. I say they get Poggi and Tunsil. Thanks.
I left out Liner. So 1-2 spots for those names mentioned.
We did not "pass" on Bell. We got beat out on a prospect and there is no reason to avoid the obvious here. It happens.
the nuggets do not agree with you
Either way, based off todays nuggets, how you think we finish if Liner, Kamara, Jackson are in, Reed very good chance, then who gets last 1-2 spots?
Unless you know for a fact that we've been beaten on Bell, don't be so sure of your claim. I've got a source or 2 who've suggested Bama coaches withdrew their offer to Bell once they received assurance of a private commitment from another SS candidate (I will not mention, but everyone knows of).
I'm usually the one making your post, but that may not be the case wit this one. See below:
***The news for Vonn Bell is that Tennessee made a strong impact on him this weekend and enough sources have told us that to believe it. Butch Jones has put on the full court press with Bell with Vol students chanting his name at the basketball game Saturday. Obviously, he is a staple recruit for Jones in his first class. Alabama’s numbers crunch also factors in. As we speculated a few weeks ago, Alabama might only be able to take one defensive back down the stretch with this class depending on how things shake out at other positions. That has affected Bell’s status as well, with the emergence of a prospect like Reed who could take one of those final spots. As things stand now, UT seems his likely destination but things could change between now and NSD.
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
Well that settles that... You have a source!!!!
The fact is up until this morning's Nuggets, no one had Bell anywhere else than in our class. Of course, now people are coming out saying they had thought this would happen yada yada.
As of right now, we have not passed or been beaten. There are many rumors, but no facts at this time.

So your sources are saying Connor has given us a silent commitment? Jackson is a cb all the way.
I think this would be the case if we did truly pass on Bell
Connor, Kamara, Reed, Liner, Jackson
Why would anyone want to argue that we were beat out on Bell after reading the nuggets and comments by staff that Jackson is higher on coaching staff's board. I think the correct comment is maybe it helps you sleep at nite thinking we got beat for this particular recruit. We lose out on recruits all the time, but why the hard line on this when it is obvious that someone at a position of greater need has shown high interest and VB could be left out of class due to the fact that we may take only one DB and it will be EJ. The BOL staff has mentioned the hard decisions that will be made due to limited numbers, this is not unexpected.
I would be absolutely shocked if we land Conner. The other 4 almost seem like virtual locks.
Make no mistake...the staff would hold a spot for Tunsil. We'll have to see what Foster does Monday.
