Has anyone been to Smiths Olde Bar in Atlanta for a game yet this year? I typically go to Hudson Grille in Midtown. But, Smiths Olde Bar is within walking distance for me for the game and I was wondering what kind of crowd goes there. Fun? Nice scenery?
It's fun. Kind of creepy. A very diverse crowd age wise.
Could have changed since I lived there a couple years ago, but I believe that was an Atlanta alumni group location... Supposed to be a great place to go. I never went there for a game, as I usually don't like to be in public during a Bama game... afraid people wouldn't appreciate my enthusiasm ha.
I've never been there for a game but I have a few times gone after the games we've have played in ATL. It was fun the times that I have gone.
I was there for the Arkansas game. It was definitely an enthusiastic crowd, with some decent talent to be viewed. I'd go again.
Its fun - I went to two games last year - unfortunately it was for lsu and auburn. So needless to say i have not been back this year.

I go to smiths often, not just for games. Actually was playing darts there last night. I really enjoy it. Always fun for big games. Lesser opponents the crowd can be small but still enthusiastic.
It's a good Bama bar why worry
What happens to everybody else has nothing to do with us, understand?”
To PJ Ward (who noticed "some decent talent") Thanks. That is what I was hoping to find out.

One of my best friends family owns the bar. Big time Bama Bar. It is always rocking for the games and like Shane said there is usually a good band playing after. Enjoy. Rtr
met my wife there.
