I'm often asked why I have no respect for areburn. This is a small reason. In an effort to keep up with Alabama Marshall writes this while obviously on a hallucinogen.
"Though Auburn had just one player picked in the draft, members of first-year head coach Gus Malzahn’s staff fared quite well.
Defensive line coach Rodney Garner, running backs coach Tim Horton, wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig, offensive line coach J.B. Grimes, cornerbacks coach Melvin Smith and safeties coach Charlie Harbison all saw players they coached chosen. Garner and Smith each had two players picked.
If you add one from Arkansas State, where Malzahn was head coach last season, and one from Southern Mississippi, where Johnson was head coach, that’s 10 picks.
Not bad. …"
So it took a combined 8 schools to match what Bama accomplished.
He is trying to stave off irreversible clinical depression. He's always been a terrible homer but the last couple of seasons have driven him over the edge. You should go read some of his preseason columns from 2012, then look at the current stuff. He doesn't even know he's making a fool of himself.
My friend Blake pointed this out to me -
Using Marshall's tortured logic, Alabama gets to count the NFL draftees that ever played for Cristobal, Brown, Napier, and even Nussmeier, Rumph, and L. Thompson.
These ass clowns didn't even count the only real Auburn player drafted, Lemon-ear!
And it still doesn't equate. It's simply amazing what kind of gorilla logic needed to put down in an article to keep the locals at bay over there to prevent mass chaos. Even more amazing is the belief in the article(s).
In my best death stare...
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
Well that's a critical mass of logical fallacy right there.
also, we basically get floridas entire signing class
And the entire draft classes for Cleveland, Baltimore, and New England.
Suprised they didn't take credit for Kenjon "Barner" as well...
What is awesome is that of their entire draft class, the ones that they thought were for sure top-two rounds were undrafted in Lutzy and Blake. Troopah is going to have to take Emory off his business card if he wants to get hired as a middle-school coach. RTR.
According to McShay its Lemon-wah
How does Will Muschamp's class at UF count?
"Touch that thang four" - Courtney Upshaw
He forgot to count the ones the new trainer trained.
Assumed he meant FSU and Pruitt but Muschamp is a protégé of Saban.
