I'm going with:
Where do you think ND lands on the list?
Cupcake #1.... Cupcake #8...
Auburn 49-0 after 7 offensive drives... 1 drive into the third quarter...

UGA , T A&M, LSU as a top 3. ND is probably around 6 in my book.
No way A&M isn't #1 here. Followed by UGA & LSU. The others don't matter very much. Because none above those 3 came within 19pts. of us.

ND and Michigan are very similar teams. I think Ole Miss would have beaten ND in a bowl game.
aTm, LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, ND, Mich, State, WK,UT, Arky, Mizz, FAU, Aub, W.Car
I truly believe West KY would walk the dog on this year's *U team.
My only reasoning behind A&M and LSU kind of being 2a and 2b is if we play A&M nearly any other week than right after LSU I believe we pull off the W
3. Everybody else.
Maybe at the beginning of the year (the team that played us), but that Western Kentucky team was horrible down the stretch. Auburn though was also better at the beginning of the year and terrible down the stretch.
I was really doing mine basically at season end. A&M is another team that lost to LSU during the season but if they played tomorrow A&M would win I think fairly handily.

I tried to do mine as far as when we played them.
Yea then no question Western Kentucky would have beaten the breaks over Auburn. That Western Kentucky team fell apart, Florida Atlantic scrubbed them when they played.
UGA ( very close 2nd)
lol @ the clowns wetn' the bed over Ole Sis!
Bama brought their A-game against ND and limped into Ole Sis back when ever they played.
ND beat a good Stanford, at OU and meh- USC team at home, plus crushed a Miami team that would have played for the Coastal Div champs. Oh and MSU, UM and BYU.
They would beat Ole Sis and beat them bad.
Then that's who you thought gave us the tougher game. The better team didn't always give us the tougher game.
1) LSU (in Tiger Stadium) -- Most people don't give us our due for winning in that atmosphere after they prepped for that game for 10 months!!!!! There's not another team in the country who could have won that game in that stadium on that night under those conditions.
Next step down: ut, Mich, ND, Ole Miss, MSU
then, there's the rest
ND beat a 6-7 Pitt in 3 OTs. Ole Miss crushed Pitt in a bowl game. But ND beats OM bad? Not a chance. It would be a dog fight either way. If ND won it would be by a td or less.
