I live in corndog country(Louisiana) they are convinced the SEC is trying to give bama the easiest schedule possible. I just laugh at them lol but talk radio has been fun lately.
One thing that makes Bama's schedule easier than the other SEC west teams is that Bama isn't on it.
it is easy next year...tamu and lsu and thats it
This. Not to mention a bye week before both. We also have a pretty weak VaTech team. I just hope we can stay healthier than we did this year
Eat clean. Train Hard.
I agree the schedule sets up nice. But to think the S E C is trying to give bama an easier schedule than anyone else is nuts.
With all the players jumping ship at LSu. A&M may be our only TOUGH game til the SEC Championship game. But... It is what it is. They would trade schedules with us in a second. They sure wouldn't be complaining if it was their schedule. Haha
I agree, but hey haters gonna hate. Nobody thought the SEC has helped UGA the past 2 years. The SEC sure as hell didn't do us any favors in 2010 either
That's how rotating schedules work. In 2008-2010 we had UGA, UF, and USCe on our schedule. Now we've moved into the soft SEC E teams. Corn dogs are pissed because UF is there locked opponent and UT is ours. They don't understand historic rivals because before CNS came there no one ever cared about LSU
Never Gets Old
Not Bama's fault that UT is a dumpster fire.
Ohio St will have one of the easiest schedules in the country next year. So really don't care what other fans are saying. Everything comes in cycles. It is not our fault that VT is going to be an OK Team. Usually they are 10-2 or 9-3 Team every year.
It doesn't make sense to some people. When you are Alabama you don't play Alabama. We could have the exact same schedule as Auburn and their schedule would be a lot tougher than ours because they play a top team in the iron bowl and we play a cupcake.
I still haven't forgiven the office for facing all those teams with bye weeks that year.
i think we will beat a&m pretty good next year. they lose both tackles and swopes. only so much one person can do and we will be prepared. our offensive line will determine our success next season.
This argument is really getting old. How many times does the SEC have to prove that going through the weekly grind in this conference is hell. What the SEC has done to other conferences in the BCS title games 6 out of the last 7 years is proof enough.
A&M won't sneak up on anybody next year.
Well it kinda is! Saban did process Fulmer and they haven't been the same since!!
This. And if I may say, Ohio State does have the easiest schedule.
I know Joeckel is leaving but I thought Matthews was strongly considering a return.
He is. He is moving to left tackle.
It does look pretty good as of right now, but things can change once the games are played. If we had been told before the season that we would lose 1 game, how many people would have guessed it would be A&M? Also, A&M plays Vandy and Missouri from the East, so it's not like the all the other contenders in the West have a harder schedule. LSU certainly does, but it certainly looks like the winner of our game with A&M will have a great shot at winning the division.
