I wondered the same thing. He looked like he had been beat to a pulp, and she didn't have a scratch. He might have made up the motorcycle story exactly to try to cover up his relationship with the girl, which he knew would get him fired if it came out. The girl and the illegal job were not a made-up part of his story, these were the facts he was trying to hide by claiming a single-person motorcycle accident. Unfortunately for him, there was a witness who saw the girl.
I had a friend that lost control of his Harley on some loose gravel while turning into his subdivision. He snapped his leg in 2 basically and had lacerations. His wife was on the back and was nothing more than bruised. It can happen. Believe it.
I haven't seen any pictures/videos on Dorrell besides pictures that were taken before the accident. To my knowledge, she hasn't been in the public eye since the accident. Are we sure she isn't scratched up? Also, if Petrino wasn't wearing a helmet, maybe Dorrell was wearing his. It would help hide the fact of who was riding on the back of his motorcycle if that person had a helmet on.
I doubt the boyfriend beat up Petrino.
