I must admit that I am far more concerned about Hurricane Isaac than Denard Robinson at this point in time. Saban has a plan for Robinson, but I'm not sure even HE could defense this storm. Depending upon track, we could be in for 48-72 hours of torrential rain before and after the game. It may make getting to the game a virtual nightmare if not impossible. It may also cancel or postpone the game. Safe travels to everyone.
Isn't it supposed to hit by Tuesday pm?
Never Gets Old
AU fans are a lot like slinkies, not really good for anything but, they do bring a smile to your face when you push them down stairs.
Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.
Live in Mobile and have been through numerous hurricanes. With this experience I can tell you that the weather people cannot predict where it's going to hit. Unfortunately we are flying out of New Orleans on Thursday for Dallas and it looks like we might be in for a bumpy flight if the airport is still open. Going to be really pissed off if I can't make the game.
Once it gets in the gulf it will strengthen, and slow down. The National Hurricane Center is always slow to adjust its prediction and track (so it won't create unnecessary panic and overreaction), but I'll bet anything it doesn't make landfall by Tuesday.
Of course we will almost certainly be feeling the effects of the storm by then.
Either way, everyone from Louisiana to south Florida needs to be prepared for the worst. There is just no what to know for sure what is going to hapoen at this time.
Anyone have an extra ticket for a soon to be New Orleans refugee? I can get to Dallas easily. How bout it fellas?
Oh, and of course I'll buy the beers.
