Screw the down voters OP .. They are sunshine pumpers . I bleed Crimson and agree
100% with you . It is pathetic that you get flamed for complimenting another team . USC
would be a pick it , perhaps a one point favorite to either team . It would be a toss up game .
The weakest part of our running game is their blocking . Saban himself said that is why
Yeldon is not playing more .. You have to block . Our O Lines biggest weakness this year
has been pass blocking , same with the running backs ....
They REALLY believe we can just show up every game and win .. Not saying we would
lose , but they are idiots ..
Hell , Back in the days when there was no scholly limits Bear Bryant couldn't win them all . At
the end of the day I think we can win it , but what scares me is a slip up along the way .
Specifically . Tennessee at night .. It would salvage their year . They have great receivers
and can throw the ball a mile ,,
Keep posting brother . The truth will set you free ....
sorry, Connor shaw is gonna have to throw more than 10 times to beat us. They wont be able to run all over us. I dont agree at all that USCe is "built" to beat us. I wouldnt downvote the OP for saying such, but i do think its absurd to say such stuff. Sure they may be capable, but they arent on our level. They will have to throw to beat us...as long as they dont throw at Milliner, they may have an outside shot at beating us. Spurrier will pick on Belue all night if the past indicates anything (marquis johnson), i guarantee it. But i sill think we are a 6-7 point favorite against them. Im not sure any team left on our schedule is good enough to put more than 14 on us, so out offense would have to be awful that night for USCe to beat us. (assuming they win the east, but i think UF will still have a say in that, maybe even UGA if they win out)
Phil, I agree 100%. And thanks for the kind words. 27 down votes for pointing out that USC would give us a game. Reminds me of exactly 2 years ago when I said Auburn was playing the best football in the league and Cam was a top 10 draft pick.
Florida is going to beat South Carolina in the swamp. BAMA is going to play Florida in the SEC champ game even if we drop one. LSU ain't done losing.

What he said!
I wouldn't call them scary good. They are a top 5 team right now, but it's early yet. They'll drop a game as they go.
Am I missing something with the Kentucky game. They started awful, but I think they shut them out in the second half and came back from down 10 to win by 21.

Never Gets Old
The problem with trying to predict USC is that you don't know which team will show up. The world-beaters that smashed UGA, or the one that was just good enough to take down Vandy?
So far, all of USC's big 'dominant' wins have come when they're home. On the road, they've struggled against some subpar squads.
For future reference OP, don't name a thread something that would give rival fans a hard on. Every USCe troll thinks we're scared of them now.

they played nearly a perfect game as they did the year they beat us. They went on and had losses that year. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain that level of play or if they start to really "THINK" they are good and become average.
I'm not convinced they come out of the East. They have 2 really good DEnds that will always be more effective playing at home and some size in the middle. Not impressed with their back 7 and don't think they can run on us. The QB does not concern me with his arm. I think Florida would be a stiffer test in Atlanta.
The Ole Ball Coach did a nice job Saturday night, but before you tell the Cocks to order tix for Miami, keep in mind that they
may well lay an egg in BR (as I expect them to) and fall flat on their face. Yes, Clowney looks formidable and Conner Shaw
was on-target Saturday, but they have to beat Georgia-LSU-Florida to make it on to Atlanta probably. If in 2 weeks we are
still marvelling at an undefeated USCe, then I will start worrying. Until then, stay tuned. The odds are good that they will
not be undefeated in 2 weeks. Just ask Jimbo Fisher......RTR!
I find it so odd that "sunshine pumpers" is some sort of insult when the team has lost 6 games in 5 years. If you're not confident chances are you are on the wrong side of the facts. Wake up! The sunshine pumpers are right and whiney self deprecating psychologically fulfilling post like this are wrong.
Anybody that really believes that Vegas would view South Carolina as a toss up is paying almost no attention. You can say that all you want but USC is still not in the top 5 in the power rankings and UA would be more than a TD favorite. Sorry if that offends you but it's 100% true. Zero chance the game even approaches a pick em, every sharp in the world would hammer UA. South Carolina is an underdog at LSU this weekend, a team that needed a muffed punt to beat Auburn.
I take issue with your specifics as well. I actually think the Oline has played well especially in pass blocking. We just haven't adjusted our game plan to respond to what the defense is showing. Some of that is probably intentional but against ole miss for example we are running the ball against cover one. They begged us to burn them over the middle and we didn't do it. The line played extremely well and they know how to block if you know football. You still can't run right in to a stacked line in a 9 man front and expect success.

As bad as this might sound I hope they are as good as advertised. I want someone to give us a game. We need some competition. Would you really like to beat everyone by 3 TD's? Sure, I know its cool to be that good but it's not very exciting. And we may need a tough game experience to be best prepared for the NC game. Who will be our Romel? We need a Romel versus Patton (Saban) to make us better.
Lemonier would start for us, the kid is good. Lutz probably would too honestly.
In the 2008 words of CNS... "It's one game aight... One game"
The OP made a critical BOL mistake. No BAMA fan is allowed to state that another team is even remotely good, other than BAMA of course, and especially do not commit the unpardonable sin of saying another team would dare give us a game.
