I realized I had been sitting for most of the game. Normally i stand throughout. I stood up for the rest of the game with about 7 minutes left.
I had to watch the final 5 minutes of the game without my pants or shirt on, in my underwear, outside of my buddies house, through a window....
I'm not real sure how it came to that, but I feel like I did my part.
Damn dude looks like you're in for a few rough weeks! (Well maybe just aTm and the championships)
I found that sh*tting myself seems to work pretty well, guess I will try to keep doing my part each week...
Yeah we used to have this sorta superstition. She wasn't allowed to watch a game from 2008 until this year. We were doing well this year so I allowed her to watch. Funny thing is, last night she was watching the game with her Mom, we started doing terrible she left the room, then we scored before halftime. We started doing terrible again and she went to get ready for bed and we won the game. Needless to say she told me she wouldn't be watching the A&M game next weekend. That's why I love her. RTR.
Changed my entire wardrobe to September game day attire. I am still undefeated in those clothes. I also moved to the bedroom to watch. The last time I moved to the bedroom was 2010 Arkansas. Y'all are welcome.
I left the local bar and watched the remainder at home, I almost missed the drive due to traffic. I stood up in the center of the living room holding a cold beer and then proceeded to run outside and do a lap in the cul de sac. I live in florida so the neighbors probably think I am nuts.
Yes! I changed rooms and seats! As soon as I did, LSU missed the last field goal and we score with :51 left! I guess I was jinxing us!
I made my wife leave the room... When she was on the phone we were up 14-3.. Looking good, when she started watching again we imploded... So I told her she needed to make a phone call
Eric that is hilarious!!! Didn't know you were on here....How you been? Roll Tide Roll!!!
I went out to smoke just before they kicked the field goal but left the door open so I could hear it. I didnt watch it because I was disgusted. When they missed I thought okay, Im not moving, Im just gonna stand here looking at the tree. Needless to say, I didnt watch any of the winning drive and kept looking at the tree. I finally went in when Square sacked Mettenberger! So I definitely did my part for pulling us through!! Of course, I rewound it and screamed like it was live, lol.
Left our friends' house at halftime b/c their 2 yo an our 2 yo were going crazy. Got home at kick-off and about jumped off the ledge b/c I thought our leaving the party caused us to lose. Last two minutes squatted 10 ft. in front of the TV as if I was Johnny Bench. Woke up my wife (Barner) and son when TJ scored. Got banished to the couch, but didn't care b/c I wanted to catch as many replays/reports/etc. I could.
Switched from half"can" to full "bottle" Bama 11 Championship couzie....then we went on winning drive...
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
We had two different, new families over to watch the game that had NEVER WATCHED A GAME. AT OUR HOUSE BEFORE, along with the regular crew that has watched every game FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS. Needless to say, things had to change... They all left with about 6 minutes to go in the game!!
Thank goodness for tired kids.
Everyone, please accept my apologies, it will NEVER happen again.
