Seemed like a very nice kid. Had on an Auburn sweatshirt. My wife asked him if he attends Auburn and that started the conversation. She told him we were from Alabama, and he asked us if we were "Auburn or Tide fans." When we told him Alabama, he just said that we had to have been excited about our year. He was very respectful. We wished him luck.
Nothing else to report really; just thought it was worth mentioning.
Cassanova McKinzey bags groceries at the Publix on Overton Road. He is a nice kid as well.
Bagging groceries already? I thought that they didn't even start teaching actual work skills at *U until junior year. Sounds like this kid is a real self starter!
Publix charges about 1.00 per item over Wal Mart. I wish I could afford to shop there! I go there for quick stops but I couldn't afford to buy groceries there.
I know you can save some money at Wal-Mart, but it is a store of last resort for me. I understand competition, etc. and that Wal-Mart serves a purpose, but their buying power has knocked most mom/pop hardware stores where you could actually receive some service and advice out of business.
I would actually rather pay a slight bit more to actually support a store with good service and advice. However, that is just me, and I understand for many money is very tight and has to be the primary consideration
I love the Publix but I couldn't believe the price difference. Things like Campbell's Chunky soup, frozen chicken strips and a box of Special K cereal are a dollar per item more expensive...and that is just the few things I have noticed. I love the store and the layout and I go there for small purchases. I bet you could pay and extra $75.00 for a cart full of groceries. Not sure Publix is more mom and pop than Wal Mart but that is another story.
Hey, let's just talk about walmarks and publix grocery shopping on Bol..
Publix also honors any competitors's coupon. So if you are smart about it you can easily make up the price difference. Well worth it in my opinion.
Did you buy some Tea? You could have called him a TeaBagger then.
Wish i had a real walmart to go to here in maryland. all we have are expensive grocery stores. you should try whole foods....or as i like to call them whole pay pay check.
You should've told him whatever else he does, do not let the aubs put him in one of their worthless majors they have for their athletes over there. They will try to do so- See Cam & Caddy with Sociology.
Nero bags my groceries at the local Winn Dixie. Good kid, very well mannered
