TJ is going to be special. He played a great game.
Some people bring a knife to a gun fight. Mark Richt brings a Super Soaker 2000.
What we did with Dee Hart tonight reminds me of how we treated Phillip Sims. We keep playing him all we can and keeping him as happy as we can because we may need him in the future if some folks get injured. And did you see the hit Dee had on that return? BOOM! We have 4 really good RBs and the carries were pretty evenly divided tonight. I think we give them all carries to keep everyone happy and fresh. Yeldon is amazing ... anyone could see that, but BAMA has been and always will be team first over individuals.
And next year... add 2 and possibly 3 STUD RB's to that list... it just isn't fair.
While I agree on his awesomeness, no way he becomes starter unless EL goes down with injury, or cannot regain his form from the previous injury. EL has earned his right to start over the last 2 seasons, and 1 game will not make TJ a starter. CNS has over the previous 3-4 seasons shown that he likes the idea of having at least 2 RBs to share the load, and this will continue with TJ as the backup unless he is FORCED into the starting role.
