We are better in all three phases.
They are not As dynamic as they were last year. They don't get points off turnovers as Much as they did last year. They don't make big plays on offense.
I think they will play us physical and they won't beat themselves.
Poor bastards getting off the bus in Tuscaloosa will probably feel like those dumped on Omaha Beach - Unknown Vol's fan
AJ will be the difference; RTR!
Good thread. I would only add that LSU will be trying like crazy to take AJ out. They have a strong pass rush and we have a weakness in pass protection. AJ is our main advantage so if they can neutralize that they equal the playing field.
Lol at least you have not heard a peep out of the tigas lockeroom or pranks from their fanbase. It will be a tough game but I am also very sure that this team understands they will be on the road and at the end of the day execution of the gameplan is all that matters and with that said bama wins this game superior preparation, superior mindset. RTR
ther qb has not pronev he can make them effective in the passing game. no team will run effectively enough to beat bama. our offence is so diverse, multiple weapons on the ground, in the air behind a great o-line and an offencive play caller who knows how to keep opposing teams off balance. this defence of bamas may be the best ive seen in regards to being a total TEAM DEFENCE! i also think the NC beatdown affects LSU still and they will be so high that the emotion will work against them. you will be able to tell this by how stupid they act on the sideline just before game begins while our team goes to the sideline with the cooler than the other side of the pillow mentality and just goes to work like the precision, well oiled machine they are. ALABAMA 38 LSU 14.
Choose not a life of limitation
If you read my post I said "He could cause a few big plays". I never said he would get 50 sacks in 50 plays. Again for those not listening....."A FEW BIG PLAYS". I think it's highly possible that Mingo could cause " A FEW BIG PLAYS". Here....I'll help you even more. Let's say Fluke goes against him for 50+ plays and beats him most of the night but Mingo sacks AJ twice and creates 2 fumbles.....That would be a few big plays! That doesn't mean he gave up sacks all night now does it. BUT....I would mean Mingo made "A few big plays"!!! Some of you people on this board have no clue, but the world needs all kinds.
Sin City, you are wasting your breath. Everyone knows 76 is a liability when pass blocking. But you can't say that here without offending 90% of the members here.
That being said, BAMA is going to win because LSU is getting hype because of their name. I have watched them play. They can want revenge but BAMA is going to be out for blood in this game . Miles is going to regret his arrogant statement after the South Carolina game.

We are better and will score more points
Fluke struggled with LSU ends in both the November 2011 game and the national championship. The real difference was AJ who was able to move extremely well in the pocket in the national championship and hide those struggles significantly. He evaded the rush and kept his eyes downfield.
Their offense will leave their defense on the field way too long to hang with Bama. Third and fourth quarters will separate these two teams.
"Touch that thang four" - Courtney Upshaw
I really think that we still havent opened up the passing game as much as we actually could. If we were behind, I think we can press the ball downfield more with success. AJ has been checking down and not really going for the homerun as much. Although when we do go deep, it seems to always end in TDs
Yeah, but when have the facts deterred Alabamans?
3. A terrific, hungry defense going against a mediocre, at best, LSU offense
4. Scott Cochran, T.J. Yeldon, Barrett Jones, Vinnie Sunseri, Dee Milliner, C.J. Mosley and a cast of thousands... committed to a 15th National Championship
The fact that I was downvoted for saying an irrefutable fact is an irrefutable fact is very telling . . .
2/5 is also an irrefutable fact that will get upvotes...
Facts are facts but can be played with typically to tell the story you want to tell.
