hate it for coach sal. he really made a bad move.
Something smells bad on the plains.
The Viles will call for Dooley's nads if they lose to Troy. Personally like Dooley, but they will be forced to clean house including Sal. Their defense is awful.
Troy up 37-34 in the 3rd
Sal is still getting experience as a DC even if they are terrible--it won't hurt him but may not help him all that much either--it's still a lot about who you know.
Sunseri was and is a great position coach, but he's been horrible as a DC. If Dooley gets fired, he won't be a DC at an FBS school again. Yeah, he probably should have stayed here, but it was a great opportunity for him. Gotta respect him for giving it a shot.
Don't feel too bad for him. He has a three year contract that they will have to buy out, and he's a really good position coach. He won't have to worry about a job.
The defense is UT's biggest problem. They actually have trouble lining up & look confused more than they look like they know what they are doing. If their defense was as good as last years defense they may only have 1 L & that would be Alabama.

They will probably still call for them even if they pull this one out.
3:14 left...hang on Troy
2:22 left......All tied at 48
Troy 700+ yds of offense now!!!
That's it- Tennessee pulls it out 55-48

Even though the Viles won, my personal opinion is that Dooley is gone now. Before, I thought they might retain him based on who is available and who they could get. However, with that performance, I think that might be the nail in the coffin. Just personal opinion of course.
