Only problem with that is that you will have Black on the other side. Cooper was THE weapon this year... he may have to share that next year. The team will be better but his stats may drop. Good thing for all receivers is that one teams realize Black is just as good, everyone's job gets easier as they won't be able to double any one player.
Goes much deeper than Cooper & Black. We've got several 1&2 wr's on this current team. Amazing the wr depth at Bama right now.
I thought about that.. and while it's ridiculous how true that is... those two are supposed to be the best. It's just that our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th options are stupid good too. #bamafanproblems

Actually, Musburger stated that his QB in high school was Terry Bridgewater . I noticed it because it was the second game I've and heard his name messed up. Anyway, if I remember correctly, Cooper barely played until his senior season in high school and Bridgewater was a couple classes older than Cooper.
Julio was an outstanding blocker, and I don't know if Cooper is there yet. Speed, hands, ability to gain yards after the catch...all great stuff. I just haven't seen enough yet though of his ability to block. Blocking was probably the most under-appreciated facet of Julio's game.
Blocking is the most overblown aspect of Julio's game imo. He should have been a great blocker at his size & strength & he was. But when looking at all the aspects that make a great wr. In my eyes I'm looking at many other things. Before I get to blocking. We all know a lot of great wr's aren't as physical at blocking as a guy like Julio would be.
agree with everything the OP said but i doubt he ever gets serious heisman mention unless aj starts throwing it to him 15 times per game
that said, he better do it next year if he is going to make a run because his stats will be down his junior year
