That AU "will not" go 0-3 against LSU,UGA,& Bama this year. Thoughts? & what do you see as the most probable win of the 3? I would say at the moment it would be UGA. Given how they could always lay an egg at any time during the season. I think the LSU game will be closer than most think. & Bama will be another 21+ blow out. Good topic for slow Monday.

If any of the three is going to lay an egg it will be Georgia....Saying that they still go 0-3 and lose by an average of 14-21 points....
Unless Jesus is going to come down and play QB for auburn, they will go 0-3. If a team were to lay an egg, I pick UGA.

God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
god thats pathetic. has moral victory written all over it
Definitely think UGA is the only winnable game for them among those 3. I do think our game will be close simply because we don't play them well at home. Flame me if you must, but look at the history. I still think we beat them by 10, but I wouldn't bet on a big blowout (although I would love to see it).
My big prediction is they will not go 0-3 vs La Monroe, New Mexico, and Alabama A&M. They better worry about beating Miss St and Vandy before thinking about Bama, LSU, and UGA.
Well, they MIGHT beat UGa.......RTR!
They will lose all 3 along with a buch of other games because they are a joke.
Well, I predict they do go 0-3 in those games, so there, it's all even now.
He had a couple of jems:
* Senior Auburn tailback Onterio McCalebb will line up as a true tailback and run the ball inside and out a lot more than some expect.
My Prediction: If true, then he'll be injured for the better part of the season.
* Auburn will not go 0-3 against LSU, Georgia and Alabama.
My Prediction: Correct, they will have at least one moral victory.
* Senior Auburn wide receiver DeAngelo Benton will finally make a major contribution. ...
My Prediction: He'll be the 5th year senior former 5 star waterboy they've ever had.
Please, Please, Please let McCallebb try to run up the middle against Jesse Williams . . .
Bama and LSwho beats them like a red headed step child. I give them a 2% chance against UGA
They will go 0-3 against the big 3, and as a matter of fact, to borrow some immortal words from Baytider, the big 3 will falcon punch the boogs into oblivion.
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
+1's to all
UGA is not as great as the other two by any means, but they have a great defense and a functional offense (minus the O-line). Auburn on the other hand is a different story. I've had to repeat this ad nauseum to the peasants on the plains:
Auburn has an O-Line that can't block, a defense that can't tackle, and the second coming of Cam Newton can't outright beat out Clint Moseley. They have a new DC and OC; so to go along with the aforementioned problems, they don't know where to stand, the schemes, or the terminology yet. Loeffler gets credit for coaching a guy that didn't need coaching in Tim Tebow. Name Herschel Walker's RB coach without using Google.. Go... Still waiting.
At any rate, Van Gorder was often a reason that I had to change the channel when watching my beloved Falcons. We would do great against the 2-10 Rams or 5-7 Bucs or whatever they were at the time, but when we play the Packers we would lose games like 37-33. Awesome against struggling teams, terrible against the big dogs. He also gets credit for his UGA days when he had, oh I don't know, O'Dell Thurman, Thomas Davis, and David Pollack among others all at the same time
The defense situation is terrible enough, but they've moved to this "new thing" called the "pro-style offense" (In other news, college football has recently created the "forward pass". It's this crazy concept where....) So they have all of these guys that were recruited to run Gus Malzahn's spread, and now they are going to pro sets and be immediately successful? Who are they going to run between the tackles? McCaleb? A whopping 5-11, 173 lbs McCallebb (stats brought to you by auburntigers.com)? Then they have two coaches who aren't even there to coach really. Luper and Trooper Taylor are there solely for recruiting purposes and Cammy Cam Juice creations. And by the way they coach RBs and WRs respectively. So, they are responsible for the portion of the offense that generally scores points. They are also a recruiting liability, which is another matter altogether (They are constantly a hair trigger faster than the NCAA. Things always seem to smell like cheating, but they can never quite pin it down.).
I know the national guys and the local media especially want to give AU 8-10 wins. I have 3 degrees and am going for a PhD. I hate AU, but I'm not blind. In fact, unless he's sunshine pumping I'll agree with Phillip Marshall every now and then ( I know, I know...) I frankly don't see any more than 5-7 wins. They always manage to steal a game or two, but I mean they are going to be bad this year. Next year might be different, but it ain't happening this year.

They might beat UGA because of their incompetence, but that would be it.
0 and 3
Clempson who knows and unless Miss State lost a lot of their defense from last year I don't see them winning that game either
They have exited fall camp without naming a starting QB. They should be worrying about the smaller fish on their schedule first.
Omtario will run inside and out of the locker room maybe. I'm hearing that 2 freshman OL will prolly start this year. I'm sorry but u can't have success in this league with that. Auburn fans are delusional if they predict any success at all on offense this year. And another thing, how can a WR finally make a big contribution to an offense without a QB to catch passes from? I sure hope he knows how to block I guess. These keep getting better and better

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
Look at the games we have played them in Tuscaloosa. In 2000, we went 3-8 and they won the West. In 2002, we won 10 games and they won 9 but the general feeling was Fran had already checked out to College Station. In 2004, we went 6-6 and they went undefeated. In 2006, we went 6-7 and they went 11-2. In 2008, we stomped them bc we were the far superior team. In 2010, we lost 3 games and they went undefeated and won the national title.
Those games have nothing to do with the 2012 game either way. Two completely different teams and our's is light years better than their's right now. We will beat them by 17+.
they will get woodshedded by lsu...will get up for our game big time so wont be as big a blowout as lsu, and if everything comes together they can hang with uga but will lose a moral one
I definitely think they go 0-3 vs uga, LSU, and bama. However, they will not lose to both Clemson and miss state. My only reason for thinking this is, it's Clemson and miss state. These are not elite programs.
