between the UA/AU fansbases since Saban has been the coach. Not that we didnt already know this but I actually got to witness it first hand today. Anyways, late last week I had ordered some Alabama/Auburn concrete statues featuring Big Al, Aubie, elephants, etc, etc. Well today when they arrived at my store there were several customers that took notice in the new pieces that were being off loaded. One guy walked over to the Aubie statue, stuck his head inside and asked, "how much". I told him a round and about figure and he said, "well load me up, I'll take it." As he walked inside to pay I didnt know him from Adam. Before he could get to the counter he asked me if I was a football fan. I replied, "yes, but not one of your type". He grinned a little and we started talking the woes of Auburn and where Alabama's program was/is heading. The conversation lasted no more than 5 minutes as you could see the disgusted look and anguish on his face. I cracked a joke to make him feel like his business is always appreciated. He laughed, turned around, and as he was walking out of the door he slightly turned back around and said, "hey buddy, I'm 66 years old, been a Auburn fan since I was a little boy and I will tell you there isnt a single Auburn fan out there that hasnt dredded the Iron Bowl since Saban has been hired." I didnt know what to say as I was in loss of words but the quick thought (as I understood what he really felt) ran through my head that I dont think I would like to play against that SOB myself. All I could muster up was a "good luck" and "I appreciate your business."
Just wanted to share that little gem with all of yall as this really is IMO the best it gets. Not even our most hated rival enjoys playing us anymore. As I look back to a lot forums and message boards before the SEC expanded to A&M and Mizzo there was a lot of talk about Auburn moving to the East. When in reality there was no talk at all from the people that really mattered but it was wishful thinking by the Barn to get out of an a$$ whoppin every year!

And that my BOL brethren is The TRUTH!
Truth be told, "Truth", I HATED playing LSU while CNS was their HC. I called him "Coach Satan" then. I KNEW we would not
and could not beat his teams. They were deeper, stronger, better-coached, confident and they KNEW they were going to
"make Alabama's *ss quit!" And WE KNEW IT TOO. Now, the proverbial shoe is now on our foot. Advantage Alabama. RTR!
Burn it to the Ground!!
