I'll let you know if Saban says anything good.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
"A little fall in the air. Feels like football season."
Turnovers and turnvoer ratio are the most important statistic in relation to wins and losses.
On average, each turnover created is worth 3.7 points for Alabama.
Last year, it was just 1.7 for each one lost.
This year the emphasis is really paying off.
Do you ask players to wait to announce signing?
No. No pressure to give commitment, they can do it when they want.
He turns it into a long answer about being the target when guys commit early. Goes out of his way to comment on story that Alabama negative recruits. "We don't" and said the guy's high school coach said the same thing.
Alabama's structure is really important for a lot of players.
Saban said he's told 5-star players who are going elsewhere that he's sorry about that because you need us more than we need you, and those guys often don't work out.
Saban said he learned about his team on the Arkansas trip. A lot of guys know how to get themselves motivated and ready to play, but a lot of guys don't.
Chris, I often wondered on some of these recruits, did Saban or other coaches actually told recruits this. For some, it just doesn't add up when you look at the success rate of Bama vs others at some positions.

Is coach in his white coaches shirt with crimson piping?
AJ spreading the ball around is a good indication that he's not forcing his passes.
Thanks for the real-time updates. I can't get the show from where I am, but I was wondering what was being said.
"That's the way it goes. But don't forget, it goes the other way too."
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. -Mark Twain
Saban just made a reference to "a guy getting 100 yards in his first game" hearing all sorts of big-time stuff about himself and it takes him a month to get his head back to where it needs to be.
Hmmm, wonder who he was talking about (he asked knowingly) ...

Hearing CNS say this gave me a concussion, seeing as I just ran through a brick wall. We will win with or without you.
Sunday is the most demanding day of the week.
They grade the film before Saban goes to church, and he tries to turn the page and start looking to the next opponent by 3 p.m.
Saban said that in response to being asked if he ever gets a chance to watch his former players in the NFL. His schedule doesn't allow for much.
When asked who the backup QB is, Saban said Ely and Sims are competing and developing, and they're working on both.
Saban likes how his former players like to come back and visit.
Javier Arenas has been known to sit in for the DB meetings when visiting during his bye week.
Saban said he was a little embarrassed by how the team played against Western Kentucky.
Said FAU is a no-huddle offense, so wants fans to be loud.
Saban closes by saying he wants to see Bryant-Denny to be a place that all opponents fear going.
Said something like: "I tell the players it doesn't matter who we play, the same should be true of the fans."
Blue hair fights this weekend in my section.
tell 'em to suck it up and that Saban told them to get up and make noise NO MATTER WHAT.
