Not at all...clutch drive without a doubt and still love the kid but until that last drive he was playing horribly in the 2nd half.
No offense, but AJ deserved the dogging tonight. But he showed up with the game on the line and that's all that matters!
No offense but no one is perfect...he did what he is supposed to do. A leader leads his team to victory...mistakes happen but he came through in the end.
or should I say feet?
AJ did what he had to do. Championes!
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
He was playing a great defense tonight! He want face another D like this! He made the plays when we needed them and showed incredible leadership!

I never said he anything about being perfect. And maybe dogging was the wrong word, but he played terrible...like worse game of his 22 career games for 58 minutes...can't sugarcoat that. He wasn't the same AJ he has been all year. But he showed up when it counted and that shows the type of player he is.
I know man..I gave you a plus one....It just was more on the haters that talk about him being cocky and talk about his tats and bow ties...but fail to see his compassion for the team and the game (not to mention all he does for the community)....he did do what he needed to do to win.
excatly right.......he delivered in the end ... love A J and BAMA, but he was O FOR THE HALF before finally drive. Dont sugar coat or look at it with Crimson Glasses Bama played tight and LSU came ready to play.
NOW get ready for Texas AM
We should have been running the ball more to help him out but we didn't, especially averaging 7 yards a carry. In the end AJ manned up and was able to lead us to a championship win. I couldn't be more proud of AJ. Roll Tide AJ! You're a living legend!

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4
Definitely his worst game. But to finish shows heart of a champion he is up there w barker in my book of favs
Love lacy but Yeldon is freaking amazing should have given it to yelson at least 5-7 more times game would have been over begin 3rd quarter

AJ with his play at the end put his name in th folklore of BAMA QB's. Helluva game. RTR
This. The run was there all night and we should have ran it till they stopped it. Things would have been much smoother in the pass game. Run-Run-Play action, would have been devastating IMO.
If you weren't on AJ then you don't know much about football. AJ will tell you he played his worse game of the year with the exception of the 2 two minute drives. AJ came through in the end and did what great qb's do on their worst day.....they find a way. Congrats to AJ and the hogs that gave him GREAT protection tonight.
Agreed. He threw 2 balls behind Kenny Bell. He overthrew Coop. He threw too high for Norwood in the middle. He was really bad until that last 2 minutes. I'll take the W though.
Everybody has a tough day at the office sooner or later.
Team bowed up and won a very tough game in the toughest stadium to play in at night (IMO).
Very good indicator of the character of this team.
This. He showed up when it mattered but before that he was missing open receivers and not seeing the field well.
Let's all remember he was slightly banged up from last week. Probably numb from the cortisone….he was a little off target. However, he stepped up to the plate when he needed to. Also, loved his show of emotions, and interaction with Saban after the game. He is a true team player and leader. He has been Sabanized. What a great representative of The U of A !!! He is from Mobile, as I am…we are proud of you AJ. (Also, a graduate of St. Paul's Episcopal School)
