What do y'all think of his play so far?
To be honest, I can't believe he's on the court after tearing his ACL this summer. I'm gonna withhold judgement until next year.
He has very bad hands! I like his effort!
Runs the floor very well for a big man.
Bull in a china shop. He looks like he ought be on the football field.
I think he's got potential but it seems like the game is a little too fast for him right now. I'm hoping that if coach keeps playing him he'll develop by tournament time. Or at least next year. I do think he's capable.
Never been a big fan of gueyes, but it's a free country. JMO though.
he's barely played...i dont know how anybody can have an opinion on him.
Foul machine. Big dude though and can shoot free throws better than I expected.
He needs to stand in front of about 5 GA's for about 2 hours a day, have them pass to him rapid fire, high, low, in between and without warning as fast as possible over and over... His hands are HUGE are there's no reason he should not have great hands...
but he doesn't at this stage and needs help...he is huge and can interfere with a play on defense just because he's immovable, but if he ever develops a shot and some hands...whoa, Nellie...
1960 Les Paul
He needs minutes so that he can get used to playing and his teammates can get used to having someone that big on the court.
He had a little trouble taking practice to the game last night but the only way to learn how to do that is to play. He appears to have a good bit of potential.
Every one says his hands were bad but I felt like he rarely had pass delivered to him in a good place to catch the ball. He did a good job of getting deep position and appears to look to shoot which are both good things.
On defense he was lost but once again I think that is from not having played much.
He has a heck of an elbow(g).
Folks asking about pics so 1. Near Skagway AK 2. Ketchikan AK 3. Space Needle in Seattle. This summer was a great trip.
Oh and when Sanchez did the exact same thing with his elbow in Tuscaloosa the week before it wasn't a foul.
He has two more years. He is only a soph.
He is getting some terrible calls on him right now because he is bigger and stronger than everybody else. It is the Shaq syndrome. Guys are just flopping when he is trying to post them up and they are calling it on him.
I don't know if it is his knees, I am assuming it is, but I was hoping we would have a little more of a vertical.
The great thing I have seen from him is his shot. He has a great looking shot for a guy that size and nice touch.
Like another guy said. It isn't fair to pass any judgement on this guy until next season.
One thing for sure, he want be leaving for the NBA before his time is up at Bama.
lol, good one.
