I have been a member for couple years but haven't donated any money. How long would it take to get tickets if I don't donate and how much would it speed up if I donated? I dont have a lot of money so def can't donate a lot
I donate about a 1200 a year (send $50 a paycheck) and have put in about 6K in donations over the last 5 years. I also get season tickets to baseball, softball, volleyball etc to get the extra Tide Pride points. A guy at the ticket office told me this past summer I was getting very close to being off the wait list.

Short Answer: A long, long, long time from now unless you donate. There are many ahead of you and many that are jumping you every year because they're donating money. Last time I heard, it was $5,000 to surpass the Tide Pride waiting list and get tickets immediately. I don't remember if that was each seat or just a one time payment. That number has probably increased.
30,000+ individual applications. Then you have those who donate and jump the line. Nobody is moving up unless you're the top 1%.
Call the Crimson Tide foundation. They can answer all of your questions. Hope that helps.
You get double points if you donate before EOY.

May be movement if the student section is condensed to smaller seats all on the lower level, freeing up the whole upper deck. My kids are waiting too, lucky my wife joined Tide Pride in year 2, smart woman that she is
I've been on the list since '06 early '07 and I'm still waiting. I haven't donated. I was told last year I could make a one time donation of $1,500 and get tickets, but I'm going to wait it out.
That's odd. I signed up in late 06 and I've been in 2 years.
Thanks guys I'm gone try to donate $1500 by end of next year so I can start moving up
Point totals/donations are only used for getting away/post-season tickets.
Getting into Tide Pride and your butt in a seat in Bryant Denny is done strictly by wait time on the list. Forking over some cash here and there won't help you get in the door any quicker. Now if you walk up to the right person and say "hey I got $10k and I want seats" I'm sure they would try to accommodate you.

I don't know if I got jumped or what happend. I'm hoping I get the call after this season!
I disagree. I got on the list in mid-2007. Started donating two years ago and had donated over $8000. Called in April and left a message about donations/tickets. Never heard anything back. Then got a call first of June offering me season tickets. And not just 2 tickets, but 4. They said it will be $5000 for the extra 2 tickets. I told them I had already donated over $8000 and they said that will take care of it.
So, unless everyone who got on the list before me (May/June 2007) has received season tickets, then something moved me up the list and not only that, I got extra seats.
Donations do make a difference.

i've read everything and talked to the ticket office, and it was what was told. who the hell knows?
I called the tide pride ticket office and the lady on phone told me if I called Crimson Foundation they would tell me what the set amount was to jump to front of list. I have been on the waiting list for about 5 years and have not heard anything. I made my first donation and also bought softball season tickets about 3 weeks ago because she told me this was how to build points and get my football tickets quicker. However when I log in my account on tide pride it still shows that I have zero points so I'm not sure why it shows I have no points, especially after buying the softball season tix.
You need to stop sending in incremental donations and send in a one-time lump sum. Last year, you could get off the waiting list with a one-time donation of $2,500. You could get pretty decent seats with a one-time donation of $12,500.
Must be nice to be able to shart out that kind of money
The guy said he had sent in $6,000 over time. If he just saved that money and made a one-time donation, he would have been in by now. Or, he could always just borrow it from you.
Points are calculated first of February. And I think September. So if you donated after September then the points will not show up until February.
I thought they did away with the bonus points and now offer 3 points per $100 year round?
It is nice.
Not correct, According to the Crimson Tide Foundation. Big donation gets you to the front of the line. Just heard the other day that an acquaintance made a huge donation to get straight into the zone section.

The reason i do it that way is that it is pulled out of my payroll and my firm sends a check in twice a year. They also match 25% of what I donate in my name.

For those out there that are buying season tickets just to get points..Don't do that. I straight donation gives you more points.
