Any chance they target Smart. My cousin played there and I heard that they are looking for a "bulldog recruiter"
The AD loves James Franklin.
He allegedly turned them down but who knows.

Do not see many folks wanting to work for Yow. She is widely disliked in that AD.
I admit to not knowing much about the job at NC State - but on the surface it seems like it would be a good first job for Kirby. Decent conference that is winnable, school where going 9-3 and playing in bowls yearly would lead to a raise and bonuses, and not too much pressure. It would be a good place for him to get his system in place and work out the kinks in a little more laid back environment. He could go there for 4-5 years, build a name on his own, then come back to us when Saban decides he's ready for the lake full-time...
Would hate to lose Kirby, and hope he stays, but would be much easier to swallow if he went out of Conference.
"Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places you have to look at it right."
That is what friends in Charlotte are hearing. Great fit.
They have reached out to Mike Leach. Not kidding
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
I think Kirby is set up pretty good to walk into a great opportunity when the time is right.
She tried to hire him to replace Friedgen the year he was fired then re-hired.
Would be a great hire for the wolfies.
No way Franklin takes that job! With one or two more years like this 1 & he will be in position for a top 10 BCS post.
