Wanna know whats funny?
We were all saying he had gotten slow and fat and looked mediocre on the field this year. We also said his mim got paid and was given a job by trooper. We all made fun of his tattoo.
So now that he decommits all those things arent true? Now we want the slow fat kid? Ok thats fine, but some of yall need to check yourself. Theres nothing wrong with caveman sticking to his guns. I respect that more than flip floppers who would obviously down a kid because he was aubarn bound then turn around and kiss his ass if it benefitted our team.

"We're modern-day gladiators, and that mental toughness is really important to have in a good team." Nick Saban
I'd love to get him. He has a ton of talent. If troops is hired before signing day I think he follows him
Never Gets Old
I was thinking the same thing reading this thread.
This is an absurd point of view.
No "we" were not all saying that. Some of us have stuck to our guns that he is a bonfire future 1st round pic and a hell of a talent. Some of y'all do need o check yourselves though. We have had far worse characters than RF (see Rolando) but some of you get your panties in a wad and feel betrayed bc he committed to Auburn.
Eat clean. Train Hard.
all caveman did was give his opinion on a message board which he pays to be a member. this is America and he still has the right to voice his opinion on any matter he chooses. and you my friend have the right and opportunity to disagree. so now here comes mine. i personally do not want RF at the Capstone. and here is why. i think there is something fishy about his move to AHS. there have been stories about what was offered/given. even if they are unsubstantiated rumors the NCAA will have to look into them (since they are there anyway). and the logical next step would be for them (NCAA) to continue the investigation where RF winds up. it would be like inviting the NCAA to campus. so when i weigh the need verses the risk...............i don't think he's worth it. JMHO.

I don't care either way. If Saban thinks he can mold him into a better person and football player, I'll never question him. Never.
But the mass majority of this board slammed Re Foster and now have done a total 180. Samdog is correct, most did say he had underperformed this year.
Hell, most didn't want Dee Liner after his second arrest. And we can see how that opinion changed swiftly.
You'd hoped that everyone learned their lesson after the Cyrus K to Auburn and back to Bama flip.
But to no avail.
If anything, I think we should all agree on is we should stop short of the negative comments when a player we originally wanted does something stupid and then switches.
I would bet good money you never attended The University of Alabama.
Choose not a life of limitation
So in other words, you care.
If you were trying to convey that you don't care, you would need it to read: "I couldn't care less."
"Don't confuse association, with something we both really like." ---JB
No way the kid was a "lifelong bama fan". I just can't buy it. Not after it went down the way it did.
Thanks for the response wtbama. I didn't think so, although I wouldn't put it past Richt to try a stunt like that.
And you would lose good money, sir...
I don't get all the haters on this board. I never post and this is the readon why. Just sick of all the RF threads wanting and hoping to get him back. The kid used, abused and disrespected Saban, the team, and our fans. He's pure trash and if you can't see that, you need to check yourselves. The kid read Yeldon's speech and then got an AU tattoo for pete's sake...what a joke.
Flame on folks...
You are offended by the actions of a 17 year old kid. Lighten up. You take football too seriously. I don't care if he dresses up as Aubie on the sidelines if he helps us win. Winning is all that matters. By your logic, CyKo and Brent Calloway should have never been allowed to come back to Alabama, I'm glad our coaches have a better sense of logic than a vast majority of our fanbase.

So to clarify, you would be ok signing a rapist if it helped us win? Or a thief?
Would you be ok with us cheating if it helped us win?
Thats usually what u get when the theme is winning is all that matters.
In recruiting you have to assess the risk vs reward concept. I see little risk with RF so im fine with it. Still that doesnt mean im going to kiss his ass and make him my favorite recruit. He burned some bridges that hes going to have to rebuild. Thats gonna be hard with that tattoo and the speech he made.....which was exactly what aubarn wanted from the stunt.
For those of you who still aren't sure if the original post was fact or fiction, allow me to clarify. It was made in good humor, thus the reason it is set up as a 'Top Ten Reasons' list al la David Letterman.
There is some fact, some fiction and some speculation all mixed in.
If you were one that was taking it seriously in it's entirety, laugh on cue...
Of course I would have objections to it. But unless proven otherwise by the NCAA, Foster did nothing illegal, just something stupid. 17 year old kids, especially ones without father figures like Reuben, are easily deceived and swayed. Reuben needs people like Coach Saban and Coach Smart in his life so he can realize the natural ability that he possesses. It's true, Reuben needs Alabama much more than Alabama needs Reuben Foster, but why should we deny him of that if Saban deems it acceptable? I'd welcome him back with open arms.
What? Without YOU kissing his ass and making him your favorite recruit, we have no chance in signing him. You've got to be part of the process.
Honestly though.....is the rapist 6'4" 250 and run a 4.3?
And what kind of thief are we talking about?
All of that needs to be considered.
Also, are we talking USC penalties cheating or Boise penalties cheating? Must consider the risk/reward factor.
Just wondering what this has to do with anything? I bet at least 50% or more probably more on this board didn't attend UA. I for one did not but have been a life long fan. Not sure if attending UA makes your opinon worth more than anyone elses. Not saying I agree with what all is being said on either side but everyone has a right to their opinon whether they attended UA or not. Now that is just my non UA educated opinon.
You are a real genius man, much like the majority of Americans...Don't you understand it's not that he decommitted, it's how he did it. Calloway and Cyrus didn't disrespect anyone. RF did what he did because he's an immature low life who's eat up with himself. If it's ALL about winning to you at any cost, no matter the character and integrity of a player, it's you, my friend, that has issues. Maybe you'd be better off cheering for Auburn...sounds like you'd fit in real good over there. You've got the same mentality they have.

I sure am glad everyone didn't hold me accountable for everything I did when I was 16 or 17. Give these kids a break. I can assure you they are under more pressure and facing many more outside influences than 99% of any of us ever did.
