I don't see this being close. The difference is our offense as compared to their offense. Not even close.
Good guys 21 - lswho 3
could be worse, but I'm giving them credit for home field advantage. Death Valley at night can be a tough environment.
but who nose?

Agreed. I see Bama covering the spread and then some.
Even "Skeptical Hippo" isn't so skeptical about this one.
LSU is dangerous in that stadium at night, but the reality is the only offensive production they got last year was JJ running the option. I just don't see how they move the ball on us. Even in 2010, they had to exploit holes in the secondary to get both of their touchdowns.
The ONLY thing that concerns me is the potential for the home crowd to rattle our players and cause turnovers deep in our own territory, setting up short fields for them.
Revenge is a Dish best served Cold, I look for a tough nite in Death Valley , We'll win no doubt ,but at what cost? Just hope we can stay healthy the rest of the way, especially at QB.
Playing at night in Baton Rouge is overrated IMO. Once we drive down the field and take control of the game the crowd will quiet down. I don't see us turning the ball over. AJ is much more poised as compared to last year.
This times a 1000. Been there numerous times. If LSU comes out playing like crap on offense that crowd will start booing before the end of the 1st. If we get up by 10-14 in the third 40% of the fans will leave. LSU crowd is very rowdy when they are playing good but they start thinking about drinking and partying when things are going there way.
Look for Saban to take the ball first if we win the toss. He likes doing that to set the tempo of the game. If we score first that really sends a message too. I see it being very tough night if we let LSU hang around. If we get up 14-17 points and make BM throw all night it could get bad for them.
We cannot settle for long field goal attempts. We need to score td's early and quiet the crowd. If we can get up 17 it will be a rout from there. They will have to throw and we should have a field day. If we let them hang around you never know what will happen. I expect them to be ready for us.
If we can force LSU to have to win it on their passing game this game is over. But with them having 2 weeks to prepare that concerns me a little, but still expect us to win it. Just sure on the spread..
Only way I see LSU hanging close is if we turn the ball over. Their offense is too one dimensional and has given up a lot of sacks. Right now I'm thinking 24-10 Bama. RTR
I think that we have to keep AJ upright to be able to run out offense like we want to. I think Fluker will have a bad night and we will have to throw quick screens. LSU will have to make some big plays on defense and special teams to stay in this one.
Bama - 23
Lsu - 9
totally agree. We used to win EVERY game down there as if we were home. It's time we reclaim the land in Baton Rouge as our own!
1960 Les Paul
Agreed. Even in 2010 when they won it wasn't as load as South Carolina when the beat us in Columbia.
I hope AJ makes out of that game still vertical. If so, we win easily but they'll be trying to kill all night.
I am in the minority here. I think its going to be a close game. LSU will have two weeks to get ready. I am sure they spent several days last week getting back to basics. They will have some wrinkles in their game play. I dont doubt they score 10-14 points against us. The key will be how many points we can score. They have a very good defense. The best defense we have faced this season. We cant turn the ball over and we MUST make ALL FG's we attempt.
BAMA will get 30. LSU will not get 20.
Bama 24 LSU 9
In 70s-80s Bama used to beat lswho in BR whether it was day or night-it didn't matter!
Past 2 games there we had to win in overtime and lost. Neither game was at night. Past 3 home games against LSU we are 1-2 with Julio TD on hitch route against backup CB being the difference.
So in the past 5 years we are 2-3. They will be rested and fired up for this game. We need to get on the board 1st and slow down there running game. Don't let the blowout of an over rated MSU team cause us to take this team lightly.
If we do not turn the ball over then I would say we win. If we have early turnovers or AJ gets knocked out then we could be in trouble.
I saw we win 23-14
^^This^^ Our guys have played a lot of football, in huge games. I just don't think our team will lose its composure. We have so many different players at key positions who have played a ton of big time football. Jones, Lester, Square, Mosley, Milliner, Fluker, Warmack, N Johnson, Norwood, Williams, are all players that at any time the rest of the team can look to for some advice and confidence and support on the field. We have played on the biggest stage in college football 2 out of last 3 years with a whole bunch of these players.
If we slow their run game down, which is what we do best, it might be a tough game for them. They really do not have a lot of play makers at the WR spot and their qb has struggled a lot this year.
I do think that their D will be fired up for this one and it will be a close game late into the 3rd. If they can force us to turn the ball over then that will give them some life.
We just have to play our game and I think we win 24-10 if we have some turnovers then 24-14 or 24-17.
Hope you guys are right...
I think I'll go- Bama 24- lsu- 17
I am going to say Alabama 20 LSU 17
