Undrafted Alabama Starters
It's crazy to know that 15+ of your 22 starters will be drafted to the NFL. Not counting free agents. Some careers were probably cut short because of injury.
Let's say 15 of the starting 22 will be drafted. that's 80% of your starters!!! In other words, if you are good enough to crack the starting 22 at Bama, you have an 80% of being drafted.
Interesting post, thanks.
Think M. Williams will be drafted. Too early to tell, but think Stinson, Norwood, and Sunseri will as well. Unsure on Belue and D White.

sunseri won't get drafted.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
Not saying he would have gotten drafted but Drew Davis decided to not even give the NFL a shot. Decided to get on with his personal life.
D White and Belue will both be drafted. Sunseri will not even start on defense next year.

Belue will be solid at corner next year he had a pretty good championship game and a second year as a starter will be key he has very good closing speed and decent size his technique needed some time to develop.
Who is Dixon? I am drawing a blank on that name. Unless Travell Dixon the guy that transferred?
Oh wait is that Xavier Dickson? That makes sense but he will definitely be drafted. Not sure what round but will be drafted.
Sunseri if he is drafted would likely be in the later rounds. 5-7.
Think you should redo this to only show the player in the last year they started. I understand the point of listing a player multiple times, but it throws it off when you have players listed that way, especially ones that haven't had the chance to be drafted yet.
Belue will be drafted very high.
This. Definitely difficult to follow as is.
Undrafted Alabama Starters
Btw, as I said in a previous post. EVERY starting DB since 08 except Justin Woodall has been drafted.
Thanks. Very clear, and tells a compelling picture. Shows 2010 as a special year... what could have been?
Anyone know if Harris or Maze ever stuck with a team?
Had some back issues, too.
Yo bro quit bogarden the squeef pass it fire marshal Bill...
Colin Peek was drafted. He just never made it to an NFL game because of his foot problems.
To lowetide, Jerrell Harris made the Falcons at one time, and I think played a few preseason games, but got cut.
Jerrell got cut, but then when the Raiders let go of Ro, they picked up Jerrell on their practice squad.
I could see Sunseri being a 7th round special teams pick. Guy is damned good on special teams
Never Gets Old
agree..i think stinson and norwood will, as well as belue
Everything I found says Peek was undrafted then signed as a free agent.

Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
So let me get this straight.
Since 2009 Alabama has had thirty-seven starters.
Twenty-four (24) have been drafted into the NFL.
Eleven (11) of those have been in the first round.
Three (3) of those who were not drafted did sign as free agents.
One (1) chose to not declare for the draft.
Leaving nine (9) not signing after declaring.
The moral to the story is: if you start at Alabama you are more likely to be drafted in the first round than not play in the NFL

phillipians 4:13 CAN-DO all things through Christ which strengthens me.
Simply not true.
Peek went undrafted in the '10 draft. He signed with the Falcons but got cut by the team.
