another committment to thuggery.
Who is this person??? Never heard of him. Juco maybe?
Complete article on al.com.
One of the nation's top dual-threat quarterbacks, junior college star Nick Marshall said on Monday that he has committed to Auburn.
There's nothing like not knowing the name of the school you will be attending the next 2-5 years.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4
He is from a Juco in Kansas and was kicked out of a SEC school for stealing from a student.
This. Richt kicked him to the curb.
On the Butta Hurta: lots of bitching about this one....
"That's laughable. All you know about the young man is what you've read. Auburn coaches have been able to get to know the young man. I'll take their educated decision versus your undeducated one.
I know more than you probably realize and I wouldn't expect you to understand. We don't need any more problem players. Have you not grown weary of off the field issues? Or did you enjoy the shooting, robbery, etc etc?
I'm assuming you are a Petrino loyalist as well"

"Lol, I was one of the most anti-Petrino posters on this board. I'm sure I don't know as much about Nick as you think you do. I don't really care what he has done in the past as long as he hasn't raped or killed people. I am only concerned with his present and future if he signs with AU. There is a big difference in hiring questionable character as the leader of your program and bringing in a player with questionable character. Gus is responsible for the results of the football team. He has to weigh the risk vs reward when he signs kids with a questionable background. Until he proves otherwise, I will trust his judgement"
well, that worked for em in the past...
Gee....that sounds familiar.
For Right to give Marshal the boot he must have been something really special.

Very similar to how Gus got to know Dyer before he allowed him to commit to Arky St. . . .
My thinking as well. Interesting they used a spot on a JUCO qb? Becoming more & more obvious. Gus & staff don't wanna "coach" too much. With Johnson already coming in. The spin on this one is gonna be Epic!!!

University of Auburn? The kid is going to school there but doesn't even know the name of the university, very funny.. haha
I hope johnsons wakes up and goes some where that he can have a shot at the NFL gus will be gone in two years.
Apparently this guy is gonna get moved to the secondary.
This kid is Cam only in style and character. No where close in what counts on the field. That's probably not going to happen in the next 50 years anyway. Funny how character still is not an important factor for them.
Definitely has the rap sheet to be an *u man.
Never Gets Old
Gus took Michael Dyer. There is nothing he want do obviously. Not specific to Marshall who I don't know anything about so no offense to him but I don't think Gus gives a rat's ass about character issues.
Dyer testified under oath that he hit the peace pipe constantly and was more than a little involved in a armed robbery and Gus was like "fck it, take him"
That friggin' retread of a program has become a parody of itself.
