Just for the record, and please read back through the thread if there are personal doubts...I said the plan would be to slow things down once we got a lead...well think about it folks that never happened. The best thing that happened Saturday was us winning the toss, I felt if we won the toss, we would score and take the edge off and stop the momentum they've shown in all but one game this year on first drives. The worst thing that happened was going three and out and putting pressure on the D to get a stop...it didn't and I'm honestly surprised we were not routed in our own place. The team showed a lot of heart and desire coming back and even though we were outplayed by a large margin, we should have won the game.
I nowhere said in this thread anything about a good week of practice or anything about the team's attitude. I was concerned but did not believe we would lose the game.
I invest a lot of time on here and have largely tried to steer clear of posting information that can drive people to make emotional comments. I love the University and the Athletics program and I really like discussing it, providing information to people, and sharing my opinions with folks because geography doesnt afford me the ability to do it any other way. While I understand this group is a minority, it has become difficult to maintain patience with the pessimists and childish attitudes, and I feel the time has come to discontinue my vocal presence on here and just enjoy the information the staff guys provide...To the staff guys, I applaud each of your's patience on this site at times as I don't see how you maintain objectivity.
