None. If Meyer wasn't at Ohio St and Saban left today, that would be Mal Moore's first phone call, IMO....and maybe still should be.

"Don't confuse association, with something we both really like." ---JB
I think the question about Urban is his ability to build a program. Now with the pieces in place, he is definitely 2nd to only Coach Saban. If you give him the talent at Texas or Oklahoma, then I think he contends for championships like he will in the Big 10.
He is recruiting great right now, but I think he had some highly regarded classes at Florida as well. The issue is sustaining the success. And the question is will he be around long enough to see it through?
Hard to say he didn't build a great program at UF. Zook was averaging less than 8 wins there. Meyer didn't just win with Zook's guys either. He was 26-2 in years 4 and 5 with his players.
People also had questions on whether Saban would stay long at Bama as well, remember.
proof is in the pudding....
Saban is on another planet from all college coaches in the nation and most all NFL coaches imo.....big gap honestly.
next....no other college coach has won like Urban has and he has the trophies and record to prove it.
Stoops, Richt, Kelly (Oregon), etc. are on that next level with a couple others.
Not the biggest fan of Urban but ask yourself this: If you were hiring the next Bama coach (not hiring Smart either)....who would you rather have than Urban?
he would be my first choice
Meyer has 25 players off of his UF teams that are in the NFL right now. Thta doesn't even include his last couple classes that are still in school. In comparison, Saban has 23 players during that time frame. Obviously, Meyer had a head start but to act like Meyer's classes weren't worthy of a top 3 ranking is ridiculous.
His best class is the class that are currently juniors right now which will probably end up having 10 guys drafted off of that year alone.
Florida was not in better shape when he left.
Only one player from UF's D this year was not recruited by UM. Not to mention nearly every player on O. Had UF hired a spread coach they would have been in Atl this year. They would of also been much better last year.
Anyone that can't see how much better the roster is when Meyer left than when he took over is crazy. UF is in much better shape than when he arrived. 2 years after Meyer (while completely shifting gameplans from spread to Pro style and 4-3 to 3-4) 18-8. Two years prior to Meyer 15-10.
So the talent is better and the record is better. Not sure what else there is to talk about. Make stuff up I guess to try and make a point.

I hate Urban Meyer but your post is just wrong. He is both a great coach and recruiter, you don't win 17 games in two years at Bowling Green and then 22 in two at a school like Utah on accident. He coached at UF 6 seasons and had 3 teams that won 13 games. He has been at Ohio State one season and went 12-0.
Great players still need to be coached, ask Mack Brown, Mark Richt, Larry Coker and now Lane Kiffen.
I'd definitely put Meyer in the top 5 of current college coaches and likely at #2 behind CNS. Others of merit are Peterson, Shaw, Sumlin, Miles, Spurrier and a few others, but Meyers collective body of work and current is more impressive than any coach not named Saban in the past 15 years.
Jawa, are u saying that u actually believe Tebow was gonna come play for Shula at Bama over going to the instate school of Florida? I don't think so. I will say though, that it turned out pretty well for us...got G-mac and then AJ...2 guys guys that have led us to 3 championships in 4 yrs.
Easy for you to say....he was...Pcosessed.... ; )
