I love the insight provided by a current player...for obvious reasons...
SB Nations Dan Rubenstein and Oregon OL Carson York break down the offensive and defensive line play of Alabama and LSU ahead of their big showdown on November 3, 2012.
That was some good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
That was one of the most insightful previews I've seen. Really interesting to hear his breakdown of our team and what we do.
Interesting take...... but we're not in the shotgun 95% of the time.
Compared to what he was expecting to see from Bama, it probably seems like it.
blocked at work. Can someone paste it here?
Sorry, it's a video interview.
Cannot recommend this MORE highly! The best of the week, by far!
TY for posting...
I'd be scared if I were LSU...that is one objective breakdown. Nice to hear that those who REALLY watch our offense see it isn't really as "boring" as they want to or were lead to believe.
VERY scary for LSU's line "watching their guys getting tackled" quite a bit. That's not a good portent...

1960 Les Paul
Awesome breakdown of the two teams. His summary is similar to my thoughts: LSU doesn't do enough offensively to win this game. They will play with a lot of passion early on, but that will last about 1 quarter then we will start to take over because we do have a really good offense and a great offensive line. I'm predicting 24 to 7 Bama.
This guy is slick, has a very good insight into the two teams. IMO way better than any of the talking heads we have seen. Thanks for sharing +1 for that.
I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing. Really had no argument except I think we are the better D.
His breakdown is very much like my own. I've looked at film and analyzed stats all week, and I've come to the conclusion that we will be more than ready for the Bengal Tigers. Factoring in the night-game atmosphere in Baton Rouge and the revenge factor, LSU can't overcome the way these teams match up overall. The Tide should eventually dominate once Les and his boys have shot their wad of emotion and false sense of superiority.
This^^^^^ After the 1st quarter BAMA will start to show its dominance. LSU is too offensively challenged to stay with us unless we make big turnovers in our own end.
The Oregon player has a future on ESPN.
I actually went to sleep last night while listening last night. I meant to finish the last ten it fifteen minutes, but forgot all about it. it is an excellent breakdown. it was also interesting to hear the opinion of a player on a team with a completely different football philosophy than Bama. He seemed shocked at how diverse our offense is, and credited coach Nuss.
SB nation has turned into the must insightful football site out there. a lot of good laughs and insight.
I am much more confident a/f listening to him.
Very impressive breakdown indeed.
It is a very good analysis of the two teams. Thanks for posting this Jason.
I love this type of stuff. This is real football talk.
